Impromptu stop for a late lunch. Went for a crab sandwich... wow, you forget how delicious simple things like this can be when they are done properly with great produce! Everything is locally sourced and homemade. Others had a range of cheese and ham toasties, with some super tasty chutney. We made room for cream teas after and did not...

Actually we only stopped as one of us urgently needed the loo, however the favour we were given deserved one in return, hence the review. We will come back here one day to try a cream tea, but what struck us most was the lovely quiet garden with ample space. A real oasis of tranquility. Thanks for being there for...

Just returned from a lovely 2 night stay here. Very friendly and welcoming and lovely breakfast!! The owners were really helpful and answered all of our questions about the local area. Just a stroll away from the beach too!!

We enjoyed this lovely tea garden, there is also a conservatory, the only downside being the noise of passing traffic. The cream tea and crab sandwich were both first class and the service friendly and efficient. Open Easter until the end of September, 2-5.30 Tuesday - Saturday and 2-5 on Sundays, dogs on leads are welcome. They also offer bed...

We arrived after a day's walking which was longer than planned due to rerouting of the South Coast Path. 17 miles and 8 hrs in 27 deg temperatures. Feeling and looking like creatures from the underworld we found a very warm welcome and an offer of chilled ginger beer. Magic! The garden is magnificent and despite being on the main...

We have been to this place before and enjoyed it. We aimed to stop here but it did not open until 2.00. We have never come across a place that opens at 2.00. The times seem not suitable for customers. Shame as enjoyed before.

We have stayed here several times as an antidote to London and always have a wonderful relaxing time. Sally and Jerry are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to ensure we have everything we need. The breakfasts are delicious and set us up for walking the coastal path - sea and path are within walking distance. We have...

Recently back home from a super 4-day b & b stay at Bay Tree House. Our hosts Sally and Jerry couldn't have done more for us; delicious breakfasts with lots of choice; extremely comfortable beds with lovely sheets and bedding, helpful advice about what to see and how to get there, where to eat locally, and many other personal touches...

Had a cream tea here. Sat in the delightful garden but the drawback to that was the traffic noise from the busy A35. The car park is small and if some kind person hadn't offered to move his car for me I would have strggled to exit it. Nevertheless the cream tea was superb, and at the end of the...

Fantastic hosts, fabulous room, superb breakfast and afternoon cream tea. Great homely atmosphere, quintessentially English. From the moment we walked in we felt like we were at home. Nothing was too much trouble and the cherry on the cake was hot milk in the flask left for us every night. We will definatelly return.
