I was in Bridport overnight for a birthday party, and feel so lucky to have stayed in Juliet's beautiful house. She was so welcoming and friendly, and the house has so much character (I filed away some great decorating ideas!). I was on the top floor, in a spacious double room, with an absolutely enormous bathroom, and views over Bridport... More

We have just had a lovely stay in this wonderful little B&B, just off the main street in Bridport. The owner Juliet, despite sporting two fractured arms and two black eyes after a nasty bicycle accident still managed to be a fantastic hostess and produce a delicious breakfast. The room was bright, spacious and very clean, the bed extremely comfortable... More

What an amazing find! No 27 was a truly welcoming B&B, and the perfect base for the weekend. Juliet couldn't have been a better host, and was so friendly to us. We stayed in the Shaker room at the top which was lovely, spacious and bright and has a lovely big bathroom with a HUGE bath. The breakfasts in the... More

We stayed two nights in mid May. An old house beautifully restored and a great location within easy walking distance of the town centre. The accommodation was faultless, the breakfast excellent and Juliette is a delightful host.

My husband and I were enjoying a rare weekend away without the children, and we couldn't have chosen a better place for our escape. We were warmly welcomed by Juliet and offered home-made scones and tea on arrival. We stayed in the Shaker Room at the top of the house, which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with lots of... More

No 27 is a perfect peaceful spot in Bridport, just a few minutes walk from the main streets. The Shaker Room at the top is a lovely space and very comfortable, with its own splendid bathroom. There's great attention to detail and everything is top quality but also individual. The owner Juliet is a great host and can give invaluable... More

We stayed two nights at No 27 during late February in the Shaker Room. Visiting friends in the area, we selected No 27 because we appreciate smaller places with character that are comfortable and have light, spacious rooms and excellent food. We were very pleased with our choice. No 27 is not your usual traditional B&B! The Shaker room covers... More

My partner and I stayed with Juliet whilst visiting my parents who live near by. We are always looking for somewhere with that extra 'wow' factor......No 27 definitely has it! The house is beautiful and interesting to say the least. It is obvious a lot of care and attention to detail has been put into its restoration. The bedrooms are... More

The house brims with character and art and is very tastefully put together. It was such a pleasure to stay at No 27. We were totally spoilt by Juliet who indulged us every way she could - including listening to our chatter and opinions on art, life, literature, politics and everything! And where else would you get a breakfast that... More

First an admission - I have never stayed in a B&B before in the UK. So I was a little apprehensive and didn't quite know what to expect. I need not have worried. Whilst it did feel odd to start with being in someone else's house, the owner/hostess, Juliet, is so incredibly welcoming that I never felt like we were... More
