Have just had two nights stay with going to a wedding in Symondsbury, a very warm welcome when we arrived, a comfortable bedroom, a very good breakfast, very clean, and a lovely wine bar downstairs having wine and a cheese platter. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

We have just stayed at the Bridge House Hotel Bridport, visiting Bridport for a concert we were unable to get into our usual hotel which was full. Here for one night we enjoyed a bright clean room that had the benefit of heating up quickly as a result of a very effective radiator. To explain we arrived during storm Angus... More

We stayed here for one night as part of a walking holiday. Great friendly welcome, taken up to a cosy room for the night. Loads of hot water which is always helpful after a muddy walk! The room was very warm & quite quiet as well which was a blessing. There's no restaurant but lots of places to eat within... More

Booked for one night Saturday 8/10/2016. We were shown up to the top floor, three flights of stairs, to the smallest room I have ever seen, straight away I td my husband I couldn't stay here, it wasn't the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in, but at £118 for the night with breakfast it wasn't cheap either. Unfortunately... More

I feel cheated.. expensive pomp and fuss in a tired and chaotic restaurant. 4 of us ate here and were confused from start to finish and I think the staff were too. Much better places to try locally and far better value for money. what a shame.

We are very sorry to hear about your recent meal. We are a three star metro hotel in Bridport and only cater a light bite menu for guests in our hotel. What you describe doesn't sound like us. Could you be thinking of a different Bridge House as there is one in Beaminster that offers full evening dining? More

Because it is a Georgian House the shape and size of the rooms varies, however they are always spotless and immaculate. The rooms have well stocked tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served in a bright cheery room while the reception area has a selection of papers and books, and on the walls a beautiful selection of art. There... More

My sister and I are traveling in western England with no reservations. We found this hotel after not finding one room in Dorchester. We booked two single rooms which were a bit pricier than we wanted, (89 pounds each/Saturday night), but the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice. We enjoyed our one night stay.

The hotel was so good in every way. The bedroom was verycomfortable, breakfast was delicious and everyone was helpful and friendly. In addition the Bridge House had a lovely walled garden, a wine bar and a car park, so the owners had thought of everything!

My wife and I stayed here for 7 consecutive nights using the hotel as a base to visit Weymouth along the coast to Lyme Regis.
