We often have Sunday Lunch at The Ness but we usually sit outside with the dog. Today, left dog at home and dined inside - sitting in an upended boat! ( you will have to visit to see what I mean!). The food, as always, was delicious. It suits me because I can have a Smaller Portion Roastie. The staff...

We have stayed at the Ness many times. We come every year as a family and stay in rooms 9,10 and 11. We always come for the Regatta which is held on the August bank holiday weekend. The rooms are very spacious and are decorated to a very high standard. They are in the hotel annexe and are all next...

Myself and my Husband recently stayed here as a 'mini moon' brought for us by a friend. From our arrival to departure the staff were friendly, attentive and professional, we were treated like royalty! Our room was amazing, the view was stunning and there was a great amount of attention to detail, I was even able to enjoy a relaxing...

We booked a table for my Dad's 60th Birthday lunch last week. Lovely, clean place with very friendly and helpful staff. The food menu is also very mouth-watering and the specials boards offered a super Ribeye steak cooked to perfection. The children’s menu offered the normal children’s food types but cooked properly with no frozen or processed products. When we...

The Ness hotel was a gem of a place. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. They made the effort to get to know you and I have never felt as welcome anywhere else. We stayed in Room 2 and Room 1. Room two is amazing with great views, a balcony and loads of space. The bathroom...

This really is a beautiful place. I would love to stay here. When it comes to the food and service though we were of divided opinions. I had a cream tea and enjoyed it. My sister thought the scone was too sweet, more like a rock bun. My son and his wife had a BLT and neither finished them, but...

Everything was great. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We are off the specials menu which was soooo nice. About 16.50 for the one we wanted but it was so well cooked and flavours were amazing. Couldn't fault it at all. Which is why we gave it 5 stars.
