An on the spur of the moment booking. Certainly was no mistake. From what appears to be a beginning of a very personal venture, we will be very eager to return and see how this lovely couple develop their business We were / are in room one ! Ordinarily I would not review "Live" west in a place I'm staying...

Second visit to Mortehoe this year. 2/9-7/9. Will & Stacey were most welcoming. The 'Fea's Cafè' concept is fantastic ! Lovely breakfasts, great, relaxed atmosphere. Throughout our stay Will & Stacey were friendly and attentive. Our room was clean & comfortable. We look forward to our next stay at Smugglers and to experiencing first hand the result of the ongoing...

Will and Stacey have been running this hotel since April and if their enthusiasm is anything to go by then it is going to do very well. If there is anything you need just ask and they will do their best. Rooms are clean, towels and bedding was spotless and perfectly adequate tea and coffee supplied. Room also had a...

We stopped at the Smugglers Rest for one night after a week in St Ives. We arrived a little late but was greeted by Stacey who showed us the hotels amenities and then to our room. Room was spacious and very comfortable with all mod cons, we dropped the bags and made our way to the local pub the Ship...

A 2 night stay started well with a delicious cream tea. I was REALLY impressed with Will & Stacey's want to make our stay special. A young couple with an excellent "front of house" attention to detail & a clear vision of what they want to provide in the future. The breakfast was excellent as was their willingness to share...

We stayed for one night on 22 August with our elderly mother. This meant two rooms. Our purpose was to visit 6 members of our family who were staying nearby in a caravan. We all wanted to go out for an evening meal but none of the local pubs wanted to let us book a table and said they would...

We stayed for 3 nights with our small dog. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The suite we had was huge and perfect for us. Will and Stacey ensured that we had everything we needed. The cafe is lovely and as we love our coffee it was great to just pop downstairs for a...

Just arrived back in Brighton after a wonderful long weekend at The Smugglers. I have never stayed anywhere where the hosts were so helpful. Will and Stacey welcomed us and nothing was any trouble. The breakfasts (we had cooked) were awesome, you can tell that the produce is quality as it was delicious. There is plenty to choose from for...

My Mum, Sister and I returned yesterday from a long weekend at The Smuggler's Rest in the beautiful village of Mortehoe, North Devon. Very friendly and helpful owner and our stay was lovely, no bad points whatsoever. Wish Will and Stacey every success with the B&B as it progresses. Would definitely stay again!

Just had a lovely 3 nights stay here. Very friendly atmosphere & vibe where nothing is too much trouble. Will & Stacey were very helpful at all opportunities. Looking forward to returning & see the B&B as it develops. The rooms are all still to be updated as they smarten it up but don't let that put you off as...
