We were lucky enough to have a 1 night stay in the new sheppards huts at Lympstone Manor Hotel. From the lovely inviting staff at reception to the beautiful, peaceful, picturesque surroundings of nature this place is perfect. Ideal for a couple looking for relaxation and some R&R to a family get away you can even take your dog !!! We stayed in Beehive, had a lovely view across the estuary from our decking. The bedroom most definitely had the WOW factor, with the roll top Bath opposite the bed. Lovely quality fixtures and fittings. The comfiest bed we have ever slept in. Lovely fire in the sitting area. Well equipped kitchen including a small mini bar with drinks and snacks (chargeable) Bathroom has a lovely shower, toilet and sink. Complementary toiletries the best I have ever seen in a hotel and everything you can think of is there. Towels and bath robes. Plenty of storage space wardrobe ect. Ironing board, iron, straighteners slippers safe. You name it, it will be there and if not just call reception. Lovely views across the vineyard from the BBQ area to the side of the hut which is private just for you. Plenty of logs ect. To the otherside of the hut was the hot tub we certainly made use of this. Once the sun had gone down, the water was lovely and hot. It really was relaxing in a peaceful environment the best way to unwind and de stress. We had a lovely walk around the grounds looking at the various ponds, plants, trees and sculptures around the grounds. As well as taking in the vineyard and hotel its self What a place it is. We were lucky to spot a phesant roaming around a few squirrels and could hear a couple of woodpeckers enjoying the trees. Well done Michael you have achieved something very magical, here at Lympstone Manor. Well done to you and all your staff and we wish you all the best for the future.…
Wonderful treat for our 47th wedding anniversary. Stunning meal every course a treat. I had a problem with one course which was a personal thing and it was handled exceptionally fairly. Beautiful setting. Michael Caines was present and chatting to guests which was the icing on the cake.
Fantastic...unbelievable service, location and food wow!Comfort , luxury took us away from the depressing year we’ve all seen? The food and wine are top scale, the location absolutely stunning. Thanks Michael
We could not have hoped for a better replacement for our cancelled St Lucia holiday. Service, facilities and food and wine were first class. both enjoyable and relaxing. It felt like a very special experience and we were celebrating my wife's birthday. The staff even given the difficult circumstances made our stay bWe will certainly come again,
Immediately after the second lockdown we escaped to a shepherds hut at Lympstone Manor. The little caravans include a compact seating area for relaxing, along with a wood fire, kitchen bar and breakfast table. Adjoining is another caravan with a double bedroom and shower room. All very bijou and quaint. With COVID still a concern they were perfect for total seclusion and relaxation. We were snug as bugs. Housekeeping was not brilliant, dirty coffee cups missed, firefighters missing or not replaced, fire not rebuilt and firefighters missing again, breakfast food hamper not removed. However they had literally just reopened and so some latitude is granted. Dinner was delicious, the turbot was possibly the most delicious fish dish my husband has ever eaten! My only complaint was that the petitfors after dinner were a little on the mean side. They were truly delicious, especially the chocolates!…
