I can't really add anything different to previous reviewers but only agree with all of their positive comments. The welcome is very warm with tea and homemade cake on arrival. The rooms are lovely. The homecooking including the evening meals very tasty and reasonably priced (we ate here 3/5 evenings). Rachel and Nick are lovely hosts recommending a pub when...

Beautiful surroundings with a wonderful sea view. Nick & Rachael are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The food was superb and all home made, so wonderful it made you want to eat in every night.

Our family (2 adults and 2 children) stayed in the family suite. We were given a warm and welcoming greeting on arrival and shown to our room. It was a pleasant surprise to find the suite consisted of 2 rooms, so that the children had their own space away from the adults. The en-suite was just the right size for...

A little gem - full marks - fantastic room, homemade food and hospitality! Owners Nick and Rachel go out of their way to make you feel at home in every possible way. Ideally situated from the beach - all of 100yds away with its own car park so no expensive car park fees. Don`t bother looking elsewhere to stay or...

Blair Lodge is a great choice for a stay right by the sea in this pretty cove. This small guest house is well-run by the hard-working hosts. Rachel and Nick are very friendly, as everyone has said, and have thought of every detail. The offer of tea and cake on arrival is a nice touch, and we really appreciated Nick's...

This hotel was recommended by a friend, it turned out to be a truly lovely stay. We hadn't got out of the car before we were welcomed and offered help with the bags. Tea and home made cake followed soon after!! The meals were all freshly prepared, with a good choice each day. Even packed lunches for days out. Nothing...

We have visited Blair Lodge many times over the past few years. We have just returned from our seventh visit and have already booked up for next year! Rachel's cooking was excellent as always, the home made soups are really tasty and a personal favourite of mine! Both Nick and Rachel work so hard to make your visit enjoyable and...

This was an absolutely wonderful stay. After a full day of walking the Southwest Coast Path, arriving here to a hot shower, tea, and Rachel's cake was a welcome treat. I had a very comfortable, large room at the front of the house with a view of the harbor. Breakfast the next day was very good - BUT - dinner...

Booked in here for one night on our journey up through Cornwall. On arrival we were greeted by Rachel, who showed us to our room with a sea view, and what a gorgeous view it was, looking out over the bay, she made us tea and home made cake, we sat in the lounge and had it, the cake was...

This was our second stay at Blair Lodge and it was every bit as good as our first stay. On our arrival Rachel produced home made cake and tea, which was very welcome. We stayed in a sea view room which was lovely, spotless, and a comfy bed. It was lovely to be able to sit in the window and...
