Rachel and Nick are the most perfect hosts making you feel welcome right from the start. Breakfast is simply lovely, our room was very nice and cosy. You also get valuable tips what to do in the area (and there is really much to do and see!). Thank you Rachel, thank you Nick for a wonderful stay. We'll come back.

From the minute we arrived the owners (Rachel and Nick) made us feel right at home. All through the stay they were always on hand to provide anything we need. We stayed in the family room (2 adults 1 child and 1 infant) it was well laid out and had everything we needed. Breakfast was perfect for the whole family,...

A lovely small hotel right near the beach and Exmoor national park. Very friendly and helpful owners. The home cooked meals were excellent and the room very comfortable and quiet. A nice spot for a quiet break away from the busier places in North Devon.

After a 15 mile walk on the coast path we were offered a very welcome tea tray with home-made cake as well as home-baked biscuits on the tea tray in the room. The room was quite small but the lovely sea view made up for this. All the facilities were clean but the shower room was very small and the...

I can't really add anything different to previous reviewers but only agree with all of their positive comments. The welcome is very warm with tea and homemade cake on arrival. The rooms are lovely. The homecooking including the evening meals very tasty and reasonably priced (we ate here 3/5 evenings). Rachel and Nick are lovely hosts recommending a pub when...

Beautiful surroundings with a wonderful sea view. Nick & Rachael are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The food was superb and all home made, so wonderful it made you want to eat in every night.

Our family (2 adults and 2 children) stayed in the family suite. We were given a warm and welcoming greeting on arrival and shown to our room. It was a pleasant surprise to find the suite consisted of 2 rooms, so that the children had their own space away from the adults. The en-suite was just the right size for...

Blair Lodge is a great choice for a stay right by the sea in this pretty cove. This small guest house is well-run by the hard-working hosts. Rachel and Nick are very friendly, as everyone has said, and have thought of every detail. The offer of tea and cake on arrival is a nice touch, and we really appreciated Nick's...

This hotel was recommended by a friend, it turned out to be a truly lovely stay. We hadn't got out of the car before we were welcomed and offered help with the bags. Tea and home made cake followed soon after!! The meals were all freshly prepared, with a good choice each day. Even packed lunches for days out. Nothing...
