The Acorns Guest House offered us very reasonable, clean and comfortable accommodation in Combe Martin, within a 3 minutes walk from the sea. Denise and Steve were attentive and sensitive hosts, delivering everything reasonably possible to ensure a first class stay, from a first class breakfast, to assisting with foraging for fruit. This Guest House is highly recommended for a...

After a challenging coast path walk from Lynton I had left it too late to camp and decided to stay at a B&B for one night. A local shop assistant recommended Acorns Guest House. I was made very welcome by the owners Denise & Steve. The price for my single room was very reasonable at £55. The room was clean...

Friendly and welcoming hosts who are extremely helpful, especially with local knowledge and ideas for walks. Nice room a little on the cosy side but that's what we paid for.Delicious breakfasts, the vegetarian breakfast was particularly yummy.

We stayed at Acorns last week using 3 rooms; 5, 6 & 7. No. 5 was a small double but good for single occupancy, 6 & 7 decent sized doubles, 7 being the larger with space for our German Shepherd Dog . All the rooms were neat and tidy, comfortable beds, the showers were weak though. The breakfasts were good,...

Thank you for your review and kind comments, glad you liked the rooms. The house is old and is difficult to get high pressure for the showers on the top floor. We do not allow dogs in the dining room for the comfort of other guests. Our car park is accessed by a road, which is used by many residents...
