We stayed at this atmospheric hotel for a special birthday in a party of nine. Nothing was too much trouble for the charming and hardworking staff. We all had good rooms and the bars and dining rooms each had their own special atmosphere. The food was great and the service was excellent. One of our group suffered from a back...

We stayed here on Valentine's night and ate in the glass house restaurant. The staff were very friendly, helpful, attentive and professional. The food was superb and local sourced. There was a good selection, both on the Valentine's menu and on the standard one too. The pub is very well furnished, with modern and traditional areas combined very tastefully. Our...

Still here and haven't even experienced breakfast yet but just had to write immediately about the warm service and friendliness of the staff. We arrived well before check in time but our room was ready and we were allowed to settle in prior to going to lunch at Gidleigh. A lovely pub/hotel. We will be back.

Everything was good here. Good room with fresh clean bathroom, good shower, comfy bed and decent wifi. Dinner was excellent in the evening and Nick was a great host at breakfast making sure my scrambled eggs and smoked salmon were done just how I liked them!

Great bar to meet in before dinner and excellent food and wine in the orangery area. Our rooms were really spacious and beds very comfortable. All the team at the three crowns were incredibly friendly. I would like to especially thank Nick who took time to fix our flat...
