This is a super B and B. Our bedroom had a huge, extremely comfortable four-poster bed with a spacious bathroom just across the landing. The setting is gorgeous with wonderful views across the surrounding countryside. Jenny could not be a kinder or more welcoming hostess. There are many excellent pubs and restaurants in Chagford to choose from and Jenny made...

Our host Jenny was very welcoming. She provided a pot of tea and cake on arrival which was lovely. The view from our room was beautiful, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast provided was delicious. Jenny recommended some local restaurants in Chagford, which is a short walk away. We would definitely recommend this B&B to those wanting a...

Once tried, completely smitten! What do a lovely small Georgian country house + chintzy bedroom with period furniture + smoked salmon/scrambled eggs breakfast + wonderful garden with pond and hideaways + vista across to the village with its church tower + off-street parking + very welcoming hosts have in common? Highbury B&B, naturally!!!

We came here as many do to the edge of Dartmoor to use it as a base to visit the nearby Castle Drogo and to explore the village of Chagford. With three rooms available in this elegant house we occupied two for our two night stay. Both were ensuite and well appointed with the usual things in the rooms including...

John made a dinner reservation for us for the day of arriving, which was very kind. Once we arrived, Jenny gave us a very warm welcome. The room was lovely, with nice views! We stayed for three nights, and everyday the room was tidied! Breakfast was very good (again with nice views!), John prepared everything just like we asked. They...

From the first moment of our arrival we were warmly welcomed by John and Jenny to their beautiful home. We were shown to a charming room with lovely rural views. John and Jenny have immense local knowledge about restaurants in Chagford, a pleasant 20 minute walk along a country road. The breakfast at Highbury was a sheer delight and the...

I cannot praise the hosts enough their attention to detail and friendly presence. We came to Highbury to escape for a couple of days to explore Dartmoor and stay in excellent accommodation and our expectations were surpassed in every way. The rooms offered comfort beyond compare, the only noise was the sounds of the moor. Breakfast with he other guests...

We only stayed for one night and we will definitely make it a regular visit. We had a really friendly welcome when we arrived complete with afternoon tea served by Jenny who couldn't have been more helpful. The Victorian house is beautifully situated in the middle of lovely countryside but just outside of Chagford .Our room was attractive and had...

How lovely, after a long drive, to be met by our hostess Jenny, and then to be served tea, cake and biscuits in the elegant dining room. We were made to feel so welcome that it felt more like visiting friends than staying in a b and b. Our room was very comfortable and my friend, who is French, loved...
