Very cramped for a double.suspect a single sized room with a double bed..toilet/shower was a joke, so close to each other that you could wash your feet while at the toilet. Wardrobe very, very small. No where to put luggage, basin was in the bedroom, not ideal. The bed frame swayed at the least movement.

We visited for Sunday lunch on the 18th December for the twelfth year running. After this experience I am very sad to say it may be our last. Unfortunately on the first course I had to return my soup due to it being stone cold, the young waiter was very apologetic. The rest of the party had the prawn and...

My wife and I had lunch together with friends on Sunday 18th December 2016 and it was a first class meal with friendly staff (although they were very young learning their trade) and the place was filled to capacity. Consequently we had a very pleasant leisurely meal with ample breaks between courses. On Monday 19th December we again had lunch...

Just a quick stop over here so arrived late. Freindly welcome. WIFI worked really well. Super breakfast in the morning and the location is grest being right on top of the A30. Rooms were basic but clean and tiday with a decent shower. All good and would stay here again.

Well placed on parallel road to main road but quiet with lovely view of hills from front of hotel. Walking distance from Buckfastleigh and a short drive to Ashburton. Clean room with good breakfast. Staff very keen to be helpful and efficiently and swiftly returned a silver ring inadvertently left behind. We would stay there again.

We were staying elsewhere locally but had not received very good service there so decided to try Furzeleigh Mill for an evening meal. The decor is a little dated but we had a lovely evening with good food and excellent service.

We attended a function here at Furzeleigh Mill. We were well accomodated, and the food served quickly. It was a little bland, but when doing a relatively large number this is understandable. Parking can be limited if there are a number of people. For group functions it is ideally suited being close to the A38

We stayed here for a couple of nights in early September. The whole atmosphere and decor was one of being very dated. It was like stepping back into the 1970s - and it was very close to the noisy A38. The room was clean but cramped; the staff were pleasant enough. The breakfast was excellent. We didn't take any evening...

Excellent position for a stopover on a long journey, being very close to the A38 yet far enough away for traffic noise not to be intrusive. Also well-situated for a longer stay whilst exploring Dartmoor. Our room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The dinner menu for Mon to Sat was varied and interesting, but on...
