We were staying locally elsewhere but had not received very good service there so decided on the Dartmoor Lodge for an evening meal. We received quick, friendly service. It was a Sunday and we opted for the carvery. With a choice of four meats we were very impressed and really enjoyed our visit.

Stopped here as it was highly recommend by my mother in law. Well worth it. Very friendly service and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was well cooked and piping hot. Toilets were spotless. Could do with some signage out the front saying you serve breakfast. Hope to see you again

Hunting for a cream tea we found The Dartmoor Lodge, just outside Ashburton. We were the only diners in the large restaurant but were made very welcome and promptly served an excellent tasty pot of tea and coffee, accompanied by fresh scones with large amounts of good quality jam and cream! We'll be back!

The restaurant was fully booked so were were offered a table in the side bar. The carvery was well-stocked with meats, but the range of vegetables was disappointing, some...

We were shown to our room which had a 4 poster bed and a massive bathroom with a gorgeous bath in the middle of the room. Tea and coffee making facilities and a really comfy bed. We...
