Lovely people - rooms very clean , comfy bed , peaceful location. Breakfasts perfect. Short walk to harbour and shops, avoids the steep hills elsewhere! Exceeded expectations and we will be back. Parking is an issue in Brixham, but you can't blame the owners for that.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband, very pleasantly surprised, the hotel is being fully renovated and what's been done so far is very impressive and has been done very tastefully! The new owners Mark and Arlene are so warm and welcoming, they can't do enough for you, they are very genuine and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with...

The hotel is under new management now owned by Arlene and Mark who have done a fabulous job of bringing the hotel back to life. The owners are very friendly people originally from the north of England bringing that warm northern atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, warm with plenty of hot water. The breakfast is to die for. Well...

Did not know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised and pleased in equal measure. The hotel was clean warm and centrally located. The owner was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room...

Wonderful location, friendly staff, Excellent breakfast, Still in the process of decorating but doing it well and in a non intrusive manner. Three months in and so much better than the previous management. Faultless stay. the new management have turned the place around and it's going to be one of my regular haunts. Thank you.

Stopped for one night with hubby for Christmas events in the harbour. Owners had only taken hotel on 3 months ago so public areas were in the middle of being updated. The room was fine ..basic but clean and presentable.. small things, like fridge with complimentary wine and nibbles were a nice touch . Breakfast was very good ..great coffee....

Hotel is being refurbished but friendly host and excellent value. Great full English breakfast. Bedrooms need to be improved . Should be great next year. Strange internal layout due to the age of the building.

Stayed here for a night on a trip to Brixham. The hotel is being renovated as was recently purchased by new owners. The room was good and no ghost. Breakfast was very nice too. Would stay there again.
