We had a lovely big pitch (no13) with a view in the distance of the burrows! If you walk up into the top field you have a lovely view of Saunton and opposite to Appledore etc! Not many facilities, a lodge as reception with a few leaflets etc. usual shower/toilet block. Clean but small showers with not much hanging space... More

The site is very clean, and very tidy, shower/wash blocks immaculate. Pitches are large, but no privacy. They tend to cut the grass every ten minutes, or as soon as someone vacates a pitch, which is annoying at times. No shop, no food van, beach 2 mile drive, but you can walk in to Braunton easy enough. Check out is... More

We stayed here in peak season. August school holiday season. The site is immaculate, the washing up area, the showers, are all perfect, very very clean so cannot fault it. Water points, disposal units plentiful, Dog wash, Wetsuit Wash etc every single thing you could possibly need. BUT Luckily we had a large pitch, behind the dog walking strip. and... More

Lobb Fields is ok but nothing special. On the plus side it is clean and efficient, there are lots of water points around, there is a small but useful playground and they are relatively dog friendly. However, the showers are tiny with only two hooks leaving people to resort to putting clothes on the floor. There is no site shop... More

Our second stay at Lobb Fields and it remains an excellent site for the family.Plenty of space for the children to play, showers hot and toilet block very clean. Over the bank holiday it did get very busy, and in the top field where pitches aren't marked out, it became a bit of a free for all.

I went here with scouts and had a great time! Even in the rain it was fun. It is in a good location (near the sea) and has good services. The showers are nice and hot but the campsite lacked a shop (for food, camping gas etc...) The sub-shack was really good and we went there everyday ordering milkshakes and... More

The campsite is well located with reasonable facilities but bookings were mixed up about number of pitches for out group, had to pitch nearer to other campers than hoped and asked to move cars a couple of times because of this by unfriendly warden. Showers also stopped working around midnight. Probably better on a less busy weekend.

We booked to stay here for two nights last minute in the school holidays when the weather forecast was looking good. The site was safe for my young children and they loved the play area. The shower block was huge and although not very modern, there were loads of toilets and showers and never had to queue. Our pitch was... More

We stayed at Lobb Fields for 11 nights at the beginning of August. Lovely large pitch for the caravan, friendly staff, very clean toilets and showers and ideally located for Saunton Sands and Croyde. If you like running like me there is the Tarka Trail to run down or some lovely runs down and around Crow Point and Braunton Burrows.... More
