My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to attend a friend's wedding near Croyde. This was one of several places to stay that she recommended to her guests. We were not disappointed. From the beginning we were given clear directions on how to get there (North Devon is a scary place for urbanites). The room was comfortable and...

B&B in a tranquil rural location, a few minutes drive from the beach and 20 min walk from the pub. Rooms are big, light & airy. The guest sitting room is very useful and makes the place very homely. Breakfast was delicious (and huge!). Simon and Karine were very friendly welcoming hosts and we will definitely be going back again.

We arrived quite late on a thursday night for a surfing week end in Croyde and were welcomed by Simon who runs the long cottage and his wife Karine. Both of them explained to us all we needed to enjoy our stay in Devon including the so precious 'lanes plan' to drive in the area. The cottage is a very...

We decided to go surfing right at the last minute and happened upon this little gem just outside of Croyde and Braunton. Once you get used to the tiny roads and get your bearings you realise how perfectly situated this place is for the local beaches, then when you meet Simon you realise just how good this place is. The...

We were lucky to be able to book all three rooms for three couples and a two year old. All the rooms are great and it is nice to have a spacious common area for breakfast, lounging and dinner in if you want. Simon and Karine will supply you with a great breakfast to start your day and give you...

Great little spot. In a hamlet, along Devon lanes, but only 3 miles from the coast and Baggy Point. Good comfortable rooms and well appointed bathrooms. Communal room for guests encourages meeting the other residents. So quiet the swallows outside the window woke me in the morning.

We had a brilliant couple of days staying in Long cottage. It is in a great location for exploring the area and has great rooms and food. We really enjoyed cycling to the local villages and along the coast from the cottage. The breakfasts are also excellent!

Our weekend at Long Cottage was lovely - very comfortable, delicious breakfast and excellent hosts. Unfortunately the surf was not "up", but otherwise a very good weekend. Thank you!
