A most comfortable and friendly hotel. Patricia, our waitress and Eduardo in the bar were so friendly and efficient and always remembered our preferences. We first visited 3 years ago and wondered if it would be the same. It certainly was and deserves much more than its 2 star rating. Thank you all for making our holiday so comfortable.

We picked this hotel for value for money . The building is like the tardis, you do not realise how large the hotel was . The room was spacious, bed and pillows so comfortable . Plenty of hot water for bath or shower . Over the 4 days we stayed the food was excellent. Home cooked food , plenty of...

This hotel is definitely a bit dated. The bathrooms could do with a spruce up. The common areas are a bit more up to date. Breakfast was ok, only one sausage included though! However all the staff were very friendly and polite. They were happy to offer any assistance and offer local knowledge. The Wifi was very hit and miss....

My aunt and I visited Jersey for her 80th birthday present. Also to try to trace great grandmother/grandmother who was French but lived in Jersey & Guernsey or was she born there? The hotel is very friendly and albeit a little dated is clean with all facilities. Our room was very spacious with ample storage, tea and coffee facilities and...

Excellent hotel for a 2 star status.Food was excellent, rooms were more than adequate, this holiday was booked for us by a friend otherwise I would not have considered a 2 star hotel. However we were very pleasantly surprised it was much better than a lot of 3 star hotels that we have stayed in. All the staff were friendly...

Do not be fooled by the 2 star rating. I booked this on the basis of what people wrote on here and was not disappointed. The Norfolk, although it could do with a refurb in places, is spotless. Our room was spacious, had a bath which we`d asked for and was a great base for our stay. All the staff...

We've just arrived back from a 5 night stay at the Norfolk and I can honestly say I wouldn't recommend it to many people. As soon as you walk in to reception you are hit with the smell of school dinners and old people's homes. The decor is dated, like really dated, but kind of clean. We were given room...

Just finished a 5 night stay at the Norfolk. I travel extensively for work and pleasure so stay in many places, all different types of accommodation and all price points. For value for money, this hotel cannot be beat. It is a traditional hotel, and reminded me of stays away when I was a child. The hotel is classed as...

My husband and I are just back from a four night stay. We normally stay in five star hotels but decided to try this budget hotel due to location and recommendation. We were prepared to not expect the luxuries of five star. We liked the fact that the Howard Davis Park was a short stroll away and convenient to everywhere....
