Nice pleasant hotel 5 minute walk from the town centre. The staff are excellent - very pleasant and helpful. We booked bed and breakfast as part of a package, breakfast was good, not fantastic but ok. We only had one evening meal in the hotel which was not spectacular but good value for money. I had read in advance about... More

hotel was included in package deal so was surprised how nice it was for the money. Lovely reception and bar lounge area. Pleasant breakfast but not always hot.!! Entertainment was ok but better on some evenings than others Only downside for us was the distance to room but all in all a good stay. Thank you

Very reasonably priced and in a first class location around a 10 minute walk into the town centre. The rooms are a little dated but nevertheless comfortable. I noted that some of the rooms on the second floor seemed to be undergoing some refurbishment. Breakfasts are very good. You serve your self with cereals, fruit, porridge etc and then choose... loved this hotel, rated as a 3 star hotel we as contractors visiting for two weeks were dubious because of the cheap price. These fears soon disappeared on arrival. Lovely clean and spacious hotel, with swimming pool sauna. Hard to find a fault is my honest opinion, we have paid a lot more for a lot less at other hotels.... More

Whoever is training the staff here is doing a great job as all the staff, without exception, are totally focused on customer care. The hotel is within an easy walk of the town centre yet is quiet. The rooms are a little dated but of good size and comfortable. Free wifi and good food is the icing on the cake.... More

This is my 4th stay at the Mayfair. And while it has its faults it's position, price, cleanliness and plentiful hot water make it a winner. When booking ask for a quiet room. The rooms above the outside smoking area are noisy.... though they do have wonderful walk in showers. And the rooms above the restaurant are very warm. The... More

I have rated this hotel excellent, as I only paid around £31 B&B. It's not five star but the reception area and staff are very good for this priced hotel. Rooms are a little tired but clean and have the normal facilities including wifi! It's only a short walk into St Helier town centre, ample parking and fab breakfast! If... More

The Mayfair is a throw back to hotels of a bygone era. Chock full of more 'senior' guests. Evening 'entertainment' was of the Blackpool variety, dire. Breakfast is classic of its kind. The biggest benefit is the price, less than 50 quid a night all in. Rooms have a similar feel, bit faded.....Not that close to the centre of town,... More

This was the first trip by my wife and myself to Jersey and I don't think we could have stayed at a better hotel. The room was very comfortable, although on the small side. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room and they were topped up each day. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were... More
