The location is great and it is not that bad for a budget hotel. The carpet and sheets were stained, the bathroom was clean with friendly staff. I am not planning on staying there ever again, because stained sheets are not acceptable.

Net curtains had a hole in, windows aren't double-glazed so noisy, all fittings dated. The breakfast was ok, but nobody there to show you to a table or even check if you were a guest. Couldn't recommend.

This hotel was booked for me whilst working on the Island. My first impression was hotel dated and parking very limited at the rear of the hotel, which had to be booked in advance and was charged at £7 per day. I expected an hotel with the option of an evening meal, however I had to go out each night,...

Clean and tidy, but very noisy, ignorant bar staff but the cleaners and receptionist very pleasant. The property is dated but well maintained, very little parking. Very noisy on a weekend expect party goers, reception shuts far too early. The bar staff won't let you know when they are shutting, very poor customer service!

Our usual hotel was fully booked by the time my son and I had time to book our annual visit for the hill climb at Bouley Bay and some of the prices offered by other hotels were pretty eye watering! I usually try to stay away from 'budget' hotels after a few bad experiences, but the Sarum had good reviews...

Just returned from a five day trip to this beautiful island. As a family of five we opted for suite 231 at this Hotel. This suite sleeps five comfortably. The hotel is very well located and is less than ten minutes walk into the centre of St. Helier. The entrance to the hotel looks a bit dated but our suite...

Stayed here for one night with my mum. We initially booked for two nights, however, due to a death in the family we had to cut our break short by a day. I called up just over a week beforehand to make them aware - the booking was non-refundable (which I was more than aware of and wasn't looking to...

I liked staying at this hotel as I had the option to self cater, so I could get up when I wanted and eat when I wanted to. The hotel was easy to find, it is central, and the shopping streets are a short walk away, lots of restaurants nearby, the beach, and Elizabeth castle is walking distance.

Stayed for 6 nights. Spotlessly clean, quiet, bed very comfortable. Ok the decor is a bit dated, but for a hotel within five minutes walk of the town centre it is very good value. Also loved the small self catering facilities, hob, microwave, toaster, so if we had needed to make our own breakfast it would have been easy. Room...

We stayed at the Sarum for 4 nights and were very impressed with the friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and lovely gardens. Christina and Flavia were outstanding hosts and were very friendly and responsive to any requests. Being right in the heart of St Heliers is such a bonus, as you can walk into the city centre and explore...
