Disappointing B&B: with the mixed reviews, we were tempted to give this B&B a go...we wish we hadn't. Accommodation was old, tired and cleanliness was certainly not its strong point. I would disagree that the breakfast was good - we found it a little undercooked, insipid and tasteless and ended up sticking to just tea and toast. The Olanda has...

We were moved to this Guesthouse a few weeks before our arrival and probably wouldn't have chosen it. While friendly, clean and convenient, it is quite dated and the downstairs rooms are dark and damp. Parking was also quite a problem. If you don't need a car and want somewhere central and cheap it is worth looking at.

After years of staying at the Olanda this will be the last. A family favourite for a number of years from when the kids were little to now young adults. St Aubins is a lovely location (one of the best in Jersey) but the Olanda has finally succumb to lack of investment and the staff seem as tired as the...

Had a lovely stay, rooms adequate and clean, breakfast superb, location excellent if no difficulty walking as it is up hill and getting round the corner with anything bigger than a ford focus would be very difficult. Staff lovely, friendly and informative. Would stay again.

I stayed here for 11days in June/July. I was a volunteer at the Island Games and started my shifts very early and usually finished quite late. It was always nice to return to my room as it was always kept spotless. Shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. Parking could potentially be a problem but that was overcome by...

Good location tucked away from the main road and all the traffic. Short walk to local supermarket and bus stop to and from St Helier. The troom itself was clean and tidy with bin and towels chaged daily. Breakfast substantial everything cooked to order. Phil and his staff friendly and helpful. I would recommend the guest house as a base...

We've just come back from another trip to Jersey and we wouldn't stay anywhere else other than with Phil and Marie at Olanda. I'm sure you can get a more modern room, and one with a better view, and certainy one where the parking is easier..... but I defy anyone to get better value for money, especially right in the...

Room was very dated and run down. Door leading into the room had a hole in it. 'En-suite' facilities was a very small box room with toilet and shower which was covered with a curtain. The sink was in our room. Carpets very grubby. Bedside shelf was a piece of melamine with edging strip missing exposing the chipboard underneath. Cover...

Our 6th visit to the B&B and Phil's hospitality and humour continues to stand the test of time as do his legendary cooked breakfasts. We visited in July with a party of 8 and whilst I've reviewed this property many times before there are certain rooms that now require investment as opposed to a lick of paint. The location of...
