We arranged for a late-night arrival and the friendly barkeep handed over keys for us. It's literally a two-minute drive to Glendalough and there's lots of parking. The hotel is very dated and rooms are up a large staircase (no lift). Other reviewers mention river views but our room looked out over the parking lot. Toilet pipes were very loud,...

We were driving through the Wicklow Mountains and needed lunch, so we stopped in at the pub. The carvery was open and we were able to grab a bite to eat - the roast pork was delicious. If you're in the mountains, it's worth stopping in for a bite to eat.

… it would have to be like this! What a place! Wonderful interior (even if a bit aged, but that is what a pub has to look like). Traditional, busy, noisy. Friendly people (notably the owner who had a personal word with every guest!), prompt service. Food was offered as a buffet, hence the variety was huge. I could not...

I booked this hotel as I was attending a wedding in the beautiful Glendalough. The day was a big rush so I didn't get to check in properly as it was nearly time for the meal when I got down. Because I was running behind I called the hotel and said I was down and asked what time there would...

One of the best vegetable lasagnas I've ever eaten in Ireland. You should try it! The restaurant provides a various menu and the service is very professional and friendly. It's a nice atmosphere, one of the oldest pubs in Ireland.

We stopped at Lynhams for the lunch break during a Wicklow Mountains organised tour. There are a lot of food choices, self-service style. Vegetarian lasagne was tasty, served with salad and fries (small-medium portion). Espresso was well done and strong. I consider the prices were too high, but I can't say I remained unsatisfied with the service.

Today we went out to Lynhams of Laragh for an early dinner with some elderly family members who wanted to relive some of their old memories of the food they once had in this pub. The carvery was not open at the time they said, the food was covered and they were beyond hesitant to remove the tinfoil to display...

A very pleasant Irish pub, though it ois a bit on the larger side. Still, it manages to maintain good atmosphere - and serves good pub food and drink at reasonable prices.Service was pleasant and efficient and the Guinness and Beef stew is truly excellent.

This was my 1st time in Laragh. Lynda's is a lovely hotel, the staff are very friendly. The room is airy with plenty of room. We had a meal in Jakes restaurant. The food was excellent, service was very prompt . Breakfast the next morning was buffet style. A great choice for everyone. I will most definitely be going back
