If you love to stay in a quiet place in a beautiful environment, you have to chose Derrymore House. Very friendly and helpful hosts, cosy rooms and the Glendalough lakes and historical sites within walking distance - what do you need more!
We booked three double rooms in Derrymore House almost by chance as other places could not take us.
That was really a marvellous spot. The rooms were superb. The breakfast was amazing and so was the service (Penny the owner deserves awards for both!).

You know, I am not sure. Our room was on the second floor, but there were doors on the first floor, and an additional small building on the first floor. The dining area was on the second floor, but of course the hostess could accommodate you. One issue that might be troublesome is that the area around the house is thickly graveled. We had trouble moving our large wheeled suitcases, so I don't know if that would be a problem for a wheelchair as well. I am unable to attach their email address (this site won't allow), but you can google them to find their own website.
Best of luck!
