Ashton House was my husbands favorite B & B on our trip. Because the owners do not live in the house, but in the cabin next door, it was more of a boutique hotel feeling. He welcomed us so warmly and the receiving room had so much travel information for the Wicklow Mountain region. Shane helped us with our driving...

Writing on behalf of my daughter brittany and her partner Thomas. They stayed overnight at this beautiful guest house in its beautiful surroundings. The room was stunning and we were greeted with home made cake and tea by Shane. We visited the local pub wich was recommended and were welcomed. Slept wonderfully in the comfy bed. We had a lovely 2 night stay here. Great value for money and very welcoming owners. Very clean and tidy rooms and after a lovely stroll into the village we came back to our room to find some home made cake for us! As we'd never been to this part of Ireland before, the owners were very helpful in telling...

Well maintained house bettered only by the hosts Catriona and Shane. Great location, comfortable room, home made cakes and jams. Catriona and Shane clearly take pleasure in helping their guests to enjoy their visit to the house and Wicklow in general. One tip: do not rely on satnav to find the property. It is easy to find with a map...

We stayed for 3 nights here and were able to visit lots of scenic places from this location. Shane was very helpful and gave us good tips and directions to make the most of our time there. The food was excellent and we all appreciated the homemade cakes and jams. It was very comfortable and homely with very good hosts.

Shane and Catriona were the "Best" couldn't ask for a nicer couple and the accommodations were very clean and comfortable. My two sons and I were very impressed and we enjoyed our stay very much! Catriona cooked an excellent breakfast and both were very helpful in providing directions and points of interest during our stay.

We spent three nights at Ashton House. Catriona and Shane were perfect hosts. We later found out they were both trained in Hotel management and did it show. From the moment we arrived we felt like friends rather than guests at this superbly located house. Refreshments were provided along with some homemade cakes ( Credit to Catriona`s mother). Our room...
