Myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Its very quiet, but that's what we wanted. Value for money.......excellent. The whole family were helpful , lovely and humorous. Mary made us laugh a few times, with her quirky comments. Will definitely be back. Great food aswell. Loved it. Rooms lovely. My husband even got a free pint that David...

Our second time at ' The Pilgrims Rest.' There really is not a lot to add. We took an aunt who had stayed when it was a women's hostel so that gave an interesting perspective on our stay. This is a family run concern and they really are dedicated to providing you with good service, so I would treat any...

This booking was for two people only. It clearly states on the booking engine No Children. No extra person was mentioned either on booking or on check-in. As soon as noise was heard staff realised that a child had secretly been brought into the Hotel. This is the second time that this customer has contravened the policy which he agreed...

Spacy room, good warm tap, beautiful view, lovely garden to read a book, do some embroidery or just enjoy the sun and the view. We enjoyed the company of the family and hope to see them again. The first day Chris advised us to see The Vee with the hills ful of rhodondendrons, we went twice. You need to see...

There is already another review from September 2012 stated that the owner seems arrogant : It seems that it didn't change, neither improve on that up to this date (June 2014). On Wednesday 11th June 2014, I was biking around Cappoquin and looking for a place to stay for 1 night. I called late on Wednesday 11th June 2014 evening,...

Booked this hotel for 2 nights as we were traveling around the area. David and Mary were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms are comfortable and clean, bed was very good, large bathroom, and there was even hairdryer in a bedroom drawer. Breakfast (extra cost) was a good selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit, toast,...
