We did the six-day Riding by the Sea offering. I did the Sligo Trail with HHF in the late 1980's. Positives: - Bed and Breakfast: Karin is a splendid hostess. Except for one evening when we were dropped off at nearby town without dinner reservations to fend for ourselves for dinner- we waited almost an hour - she delivered a... More

This is for people who like adventure and can ride. I went with a friend and ended up meeting 2 really nice girls from Germany. We decided to stay together for the entire trip and had an amazing time. We rode for over 100 km, each night stopping at B&Bs where we could have some hot tea, shower, have a... More

It was a real adventure together with my daughter and friend to ride along the Atlantic coast on well trained horses, beutiful landscape, saddlebags and a map. Everything was well organized, high professional level of staff and owners of the farm. Can highly recommend but be prepared it is not a walk in the park but it is a fanstic adventure!

Did the Donegal South Trail for 7 days with a friend. Excellent horses, excellent staff. Tillman and Collette both helped via phone when we had a few challenges on trail ( keys for gates had been changed, lol). Every day is different, every B and B was good and the food is exceptional ! Galloping on the beach is amazing!... More

We were here last summer and did the Yeat's trail, now it was turn of the Donegal trail. We arrived on Saturday and knew what to expect. Tilman gave us horses and showed trial ride route from the map. We did the trial ride just the two of us but we saw other rides on the route as well. Our... More

Took Yeats trail in July and had a great time! We rode on a beach, country roads, forests. Had nice lunches in pubs, horses waiting on a field. Accommodations in family guest houses were very nice. Everything was well organised. Yeats trail is a perfect choice for a person who enjoys outdoor holiday with a pinch of adventure!

I spent 4 days as a single rider doing the Ride by the Sea program and it was fabulous. The days are very full and the staff and other riders were great. Every day, the program went like this: 9 AM: Breakfast 10 AM: Meet at the barn, get your horse, clean and tack up 11-1130 AM: Hit the trails... More

We had beautiful weather on our trip in July 2013. Not a drop of rain on our ride. We booked a 7 day Donegal South ride originally. We shortened our trail to the four day after the first day of riding. In hindsight we should have done ride by the sea and enjoyed the scenery around the farm and just... More

We were on a Yeats trail for 4 days (trial ride in first day and night in the Farm). Rooms were tidy, breakfast fullfilling and stables were clean and well organised. Our horses were amazing, well fitted to everyone. Safe and eager to gallop in the beaches we crossed. Route was marked well, except one place. B&B's were great! Just... More
