This was one if the most relaxing breaks I have had. 2 nights in the castle where all the bedrooms are different and well appointed. The bed was one of the best I have slept in and the food exceptional. The grounds are beautiful with great walks, horse riding and archery. History abounds and the Leslie family have kept the...

We stayed in the Lodge and absolutely loved it! The rooms were incredibly comfortable and new, with clawfoot bathtubs! Our room overlooked the stables, which I absolutely loved! The castle is only a short walk away and is something you should absolutely check out! The castle has been lovingly renovated to keep its' old world charm. The Leslie family is...

Really looking forward to afternoon tea in a wonderful old castle in beautiful surroundings. Seated in dining room overlooking the lake, great. Waitress arrived with tea and coffee, then one cake stand piled high for goodies for 3-people. It really did lose all of the impact when all you could see was lots of different bits but all jammed together....

Castle Leslie has managed to keep its originality and authenticity in order to give guests a true 'old world' experience that would be difficult to be matched by anywhere else in Ireland. The decor is fabulously exquisite with no detail left out. The countless drawing rooms and lounges all offer something original. Staff are very helpful and friendly but do...

Having stayed in Castle Leslie in 2000 and enjoyed the 'Country House Weekend' feeling, we returned 16 years later to find things had changed considerably! In the interim the Lodge has been re-purchased, as has the riding centre. In the Castle the library, snooker room and orangerie have been renovated, adding to the charm. Happily the drawing room and dining...

Myself and my girlfriend stayed and dined here at the beginning of the year. It really is such a unique place which we both love to bits. The place oozes history and class in its simplistic style. The rooms are amazing and totally relax you for the stay (try the bath). Each time we stay is better than the last!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Aggie's room and had a wonderful experience of the afternoon tea. Most of all however the castle's "good old soul" Owen made our stay unforgettable with his kindness, warmth and intriguing and fascinating stories about the castle's heritage. Secondly, we were delighted to book in with Snaffles restaurant for dinner and meet a wonderful waitress...

First visit to Castle Leslie estate - impressed by the setting, the staff , the rooms and whole environment and 'feel' of the place. Our booking included breakfast; and dinner in Snaffles restaurant. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service in Snaffles. Everything was excellent - bar one significant shortcoming. The after dinner...

Wonderful stay!! This was our second visit to Castle Leslie and once again we just loved it! We stayed in Desmond's room which had recently been refurbished. This castle hotel has bundles of character and history. It is a quirky place and is the most at home I have ever felt at a hotel. Our meal was lovely, the restaurant...
