Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The desk help was excellent. I had a bad experience with an air conditioning unit that kept me up all night--but the staff was very helpful in helping me relocate to another room for the next evening. Conveniently located and amazingly clean. I recommend it for those travelling down I-65 in Tennessee who want to get a little off the "beaten path".

We were in Lewisburg for a family event. This is an older facility, but the staff works very hard to make you have a pleasant stay. The facility is located conveniently to several fast food restaurants and a nearby Shoney's. It is on the outskirts of town and easy access to the highways. Lewisburg is in the heart of War Between the States locations.

We bought a new home in Lewisburg and had to wait almost a week for the escrow to close, so we stayed at this hotel.

It's very clean, quiet and the staff is extremely nice and helpful.

I would say that the only problem we had was that they were in the middle of a heatwave and the air conditioner didn't work very well. It was noisy and didn't keep the room very cool.

We had our dog with us and this is a very good place to stay if you bring your pets! There are several large areas next to the hotel to walk your dog!

They also have a washer and dryer and a nice breakfast!

It's also right by many fast food restaurants and a grocery store.

I would recommend this hotel!

The room was just okay. It was a place to sleep. But when I sat down in the pedestal desk chair, I almost fell over onto the floor. We picked this facility because it had a "free" breakfast. We got there at 8:20 am. (Breakfast was 6:00 to 9:00) They had a couple bananas laying there and a few packaged muffins, and a couple little boxes of cereal. No bread or English Muffins... They also had a Waffle maker. I started one up, and looked for milk or juice. They didn't have anything to drink except hot coffee and tea. I then went to put syrup on the waffle, and there wasn't any. I threw the waffle in the trash, and went to McDonalds across the street. So don't pick this place if you think you are going to get a "free" breakfast. Unless you just want coffee and a Little Debbie cake type muffin. Very disappointed!!!

Beware of Richland inn Lewisburg!!!! This place is nasty and old. It isn't a place to stay with family or anyone. There are people that are staying for long term that are sketchy. There was a strong scent of Marijuana coming out of a room. Trip advisor had 4+ reviews for Richland. This is the reason I thought the Inn was safe and clean. I walked in the room look around and immediately laid the key card down and walked out and left. There was no way that I was going to stay there. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY OTHER REVIEWS!!!!! The picture taken from the site are disceptive representation of the hotel, which are attached. I didn't have the forethought to take what it really looked like.

I am from Los Angeles California and visited this small town in Tennesee. My job is relocating to Lewisburg and I stayed at the Richland Inn for 5 weeks. I stayed in an upstairs non-smoking room with a king size bed, refrigerator and microwave. The hotel was clean, well maintained and the staff was the most helpful, friendly and accommodating group of people I have ever met.

This hotel is a 5 star hotel for service in my opinion. The rooms are very modest and do not have fancy flat screen TVs, modern furniture or room decor like the mega hotels in big cities, but it did have all the basic needs for any traveler passing through town. There was internet, HBO and a free contintental breakfast set out each morning with more choices than I have seen at a Marriott. The staff was very attentive and if a traveler had a special request, the staff went out of their way to accommodate.

The price cannot be beat for what is offered and I highly reccommend the Richland Inn to all who need a comfortable, clean place to stay passing through Lewisburg.

Vashi, Jodie, Annette and the gang I give you a high five and a big see y'all again real soon. I will definitely stay there again when the need arises.

I was warned that the local accomodations in Lewisburg left much to be desired and that I should stay elsewhere and commute in for a business meeting. Being the semi advenurous, semi thickheaded type, I decided to try the Richland Inn anyway.

To keep the review short, the business associate was right.

Noisy, near a majot thorofare

Breakfast, at least the coffee was warm.

My husband and I stayed one night while traveling south. We woke in the morning to blood stains on the sheets. I pulled back the sheets and the top mattress was brand new. I pulled back the top mattress and the bottom one was dirty and had bed bugs! I went to the office where I was told they would call a pest company and refund my money when pest control arrived. I called later in the day and the woman who answered said pest control had not come but she would refund our money if we agreed not to post a bad review. Right after that, a male called me back and was rude and angry. He said we should have reported them the night before instead of using their room all night and reporting them at 7a. I explained we didn't know until we woke up but he wouldn't believe me!!! I am so angry and grossed out I cannot stop crying and they blew us off. He said housekeeping didn't find any. I said they needed to call pest control because they will get other people but he said they were too busy and full with guests so they wouldn't get called again until MONDAY!! 4 more days! Room 222. They were nice until I reported the problem. Rude and awful after and still renting the room out. He also said he didn't care if I called the BBB or posted a review. Beware.

This hotel was clean, cheap, and a very good hotel for pets. They only charge 5 dollars per pet. The hotel staff was very nice and the continental breakfast was very delicious. If we ever have to stay in lewisburg, tn again I would choose this hotel.

This motel is located in Lewisburg and has neat rooms, very friendly staff who promptly fixed a leaking faucet. They do have a continental breakfast and are right across a McDonald's- for a hot breakfast, they offered me their breakfast the next day even after the 0900 cutoff, just asked the front desk.

Overall: neat rooms, good location, friendly service, reasonable price.

would recommend this motel for staying in lewisburg or if you need a quick break while traveling on I-65
