Just spent an amazing day/night at Roundwood House. From the moment we arrived it was like home from home, or staying at a really good friend's place. It is a wonderful old country house with a lot of heart and soul. We were there with a group of 9 for a photoshoot and what a setting! It is so quiet...

What a wonderful time we had in Roundwood House! Hannah and Paddy made our stay special, they are great hosts The room was spacious, comfortable, with a lovely view. The food was wonderful! The extra special was the walking in Laois. I never knew it was so beautiful, even in the rain, we will definitely be back.

Stayed here with family to celebrate a relative's birthday. I couldn't fault the staff / family that run it -every need was met and catered for. Beautiful location, setting, house and decor. The rooms were lovely and the food exceptionable. We stayed up quite late and the staff were so helpful -especially with our groggy heads the next morning! All...

If you are looking for a high quality, unique and personal service for a small/medium group meeting, Roundwood House is an excellent choice. Having the house to ourselves was great and preferable to being lost in the usual big hotel. The food (breakfast, scones, lunch and dinner), bedrooms and personal service provided by Hannah and Paddy were absolutely fantastic. The...

Just home from a family gathering (six) at Roundwood. It could hardly have gone better. From the time we arrived to the time we left we were supberbly looked after. Tea/coffee and homemade biscuits in front of the log fire on the house, an excellent celebration dinner and a nice warm and comfortable bed combined to make our 'event' a...

We got married in August and held our reception at Roundwood. From the minute we met Hannah and Paddy we were bowled over at how relaxed and east going they are. Absolutely nothing was a problem and we quickly realised that we should follow their expert advice. Hannah recommended the band (Cua- who were a 'get up on your feet...

We had the pleasure of attending our dear friends' wedding here. We stayed the for the ceremony, pictures, reception, party, after-party, you get the picture. The house is a great place to visit from a historical perspective. However, the service and the atmosphere is what you should come for! After many great conversations and late in the evening our host...

Roundwood House in Co Meath is a lovely country home, it is run by a young couple who are full of concern and interest in their guests. The main building needs a bit of TLC for sure but it didnt bother us as the hospitality and food were superb. we explored the grounds, a library stands apart from the house...

I didn't know exactly what to expect when I booked a trip at Roundwood House, but by the end I can look on it as a fantastic experience. The house itself is charming and not overly polished like some other country houses, but everything is well-kept and in good shape. It retains the feel of being invited into a home...
