Went to The Glencar House Hotel, it's back in business, lovely new look,, which retains all the old glamour and character. The grounds remain as beautiful as ever, Lunch was lovely. Rooms were pricey,, but I think that might change.

We visited for two nights in October in order to climb Carrauntoohil. An excellent base for walks in the Reeks. A very warm welcom and excellent evening meals. Cosy bar area.Would revisit when next in the area.More
