Property's Favourite Review
We got a very warm welcome in this special B&B from the owner. It is situated on the Main Street overlooking the sea. Our en-suite room was most comfortable with a sea view and fresh flowers, tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of fluffy towels. A library of books was available to guests and tourist literature too. Eileen provided good advice on the locality. She very kindly did some washing/ drying for us and also posted a forgotten item back to Dublin. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Dogs bay nearby beach a must. Clear water, white sand. Beautiful.

Wits End is one of the nicest b&bs I have ever stayed in. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and my room had a lovely en suite. Host Eileen is a lovely lady, who whips up a scrumptious freshly cooked breakfast. Brilliant value for money. All in all, I could not fault Wits End, and would recommend to all.

We stayed two nights at the Wits End. It was very clean and nothing was missing. Breakfast is a dream and you can express wishes. Gluten-free toast (in a separate toaster) was also considered. Eileen is a wonderful and lovable woman. She gave us lots of tips and took care of us very well. We would definitely come back!

Absolutely stunning stay at Wits End in Roundstone. Unreal company, fantastic breakfasts and hospitality. One of my favorite places to visit in Ireland. The kettle in the bedroom is a lovely touch for an early morning Cuppa with a gorgeous view of the harbour :) would definitely come again!

The cute pink house on Main Street is impossible to miss, there is plenty of parking around it and the reception was very friendly.
The rooms were simple but pretty and the front was also quiet at night. There is hardly any traffic at night in Roundstone.
The best thing came the next morning, the breakfast was fantastic. Eileen, the hostess, doesn't just cook with eggs, salmon and porridge, but with a lot of love. She is the heart and soul of the B&B, a lovely person who we immediately fell in love with.
We wish her all the best and will always remember her with kindness.

Nearly 30 years ago my late wife and I came across this gem. We often talked about the warmth of the welcome we experienced during that short stay and vowed that the next time we were in that part of Connemara that would be the place to stay. Unfortunately, years passed and we never got round to visiting the area again. Then I was invited to a wedding in Clifton and found that Roundstone was within easy driving distance from there. On telling my son about our memories of Wits End he immediately phoned to book accommodation for me and my grandson & his girlfriend and mentioned that his Mum & dad stayed with Nora & Eileen all those years ago but that since then Mum had passed. The reply was that “in that case, we will look after your dad twice as well” - and they did! Two lovely nights, fantastic breakfasts and a lift to Mass on Sunday morning as it was raining a little. A home from home, only better.
All I can say is- thank you Eileen & Mum for a lovely two days. And I will not leave it another 30 years before I’m back.

Stayed here a few nights in August. Lovely friendly owner always wore mask, was always at hand and prepared gorgeous breakfast - the best of our holiday.
Location is excellent and the rooms spotless and comfortable with beautiful views (sunrise view from the bedroom, as in photo, was superb).
Cannot be faulted

Exceptionally friendly and attentive service.
The breakfast was very good and lovingly decorated with flowers.
The room was clean and nicely furnished.
With the great view from our window and the pubs just around the corner, a recommended place to stay.
