From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the lovely Linda we knew this was going to be special and it far exceeded expectation. Our bedroom had its own sitting room with an open turf fire which was lit for us daily. Divine. Chocolates on our first evening and a glass of Prosecco added to our enjoyment. Two evening...

My 2 sisters and I brought our mother for a 3 night stay for her 88th birthday and we all loved it. The location is stunning as is the Arts and Crafts building, yes it is a little dated, ( the lovely General Manager told us they are gradually upgrading and will be closing shortly for 5 weeks to upgrade...

Stayed for two nights to attend wedding. The food was consistently very good. The hotel is in a beautiful location. Rooms are ultra basic and dated. Very cold in room and no heat from radiator. Enquired at reception to be told the boiler was on a time clock. In any event they turned the heating on. Everything about the hotel...

We booked this hotel because of its reputation as a place to chill out. The idea was that if the weather was bad it would be nice to curl up in an armchair in a nice lounge in front of a turf fire with a good book. Unfortunately not so. The hotel was full of families with young children and...

Great spot . Beautiful location. Best food I have had anywhere in Ireland. Proprietor is very attentive. and ever present. Bar is very lively, and good social spot. Rooms are certainly dated.... Reminds me of my child hood. A revamp this winter is planned- this should round it off . Very pleasing overall.

This was my third visit to Renvyle and once again it wove its spell. The grounds are lovely and if its long peaceful walks you're after there is no better place. Even if you don't like walking you can stand on the shores of the hotel lake and watch the ducks and geese or stand on the shore of the...

We stayed here for one night in Sept. 2013. We thought the location was nice and the public rooms rustic. The dinner was good. However, the room was awful. It was very dated. You could barely move in the room due to the small size and the excessive amount of cheap furniture. The dresser and bed were so close that...

We just spent three nights at Renvyle House Hotel, arriving on Friday, 12 October 2013 and departing on Tuesday, 15 October 2013. This was our third visit to this lovely property. Prior to booking this reservation we checked to ensure that Irish music would be on full display during our visit and were informed that would be the case. Imagine...

Our last stay in June was affected by a wedding taking place and the same happened this time. This time we were there for 3 nights Thursday to Saturday and everything was the usual pleasurable stay on the Thursday but Friday the wedding party virtually took over the place (no more stress free zone). The service was so stretched that...

I loved this little gem. You are already on a winner with the location which is set on the edge of Connemara surrounded be stunning beaches and breathtaking scenery. (The climb to the summit of Diamond Mountain in the nearby Letterfrack National Park is well worth it as you have superb views of the peninsula). The hotel has plenty of...
