Last weekend we made our second visit to Lough Inagh Lodge. The reason we returned is that we absolutely loved it first time around. This time it was no different - from the minute we drove in the gates to the minute we left we felt relaxed, comfortable and happy. It is the most beautiful hotel. Small, intimate and friendly....

Stunning location in Connemara. Have driven past this hotel on several occasions and always promised myself a stay when the opportunity arose. Weather forecast for the week was good for November and we were able to book a 3 night stay. Hotel and rooms are spotless, food delicious and very fresh. Staff are very friendly and keen to help, whether...

Everything upmarket. Food, hospitality, comfort, ambience, scenery. Very personal treatment by proprietor who is helpful but unobtrusive. Come to relax, enjoy local food and connamara at its best. If you have a need to chill, you will freeze, not in a thermodynamic sense. You will thank yourself for choosing this lovely inn.

The lodge is located across from Lough Inagh in a breathtakingly beautiful landscape. Very quiet, remotely situated on a side road. Clifden is approx. 24 km away. Nice little town, very friendly people. Drive up the sky road to enjoy a smashing view of the Atlantic coast of this part of Connemara. Hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. The...

This was our second visit to Lough Inagh for tea. Very accommodating staff. Celebrating my daughters birthday. Charming. Fireplace was lit and rooms were beautifully decorated. We had tea and sandwiches. Bautiful setting. Would love to stay here on a future trip. Great place to stop at when touring Connemara.

Just back from another stay at Lought Inagh Lodge. Wives for visiting Clifden and Roundstone and the two of us for fishing. My brother in law caught the largest brown trout from the lake this year at 6lbs. Weather not very good but the fishing was fine with the hotel and food just excellent, anyway who cares about the weather...

We stayed here on the first two nights of a tour of the Wild Atlantic Way. Lough Inagh Lodge is (I believe) a former fishing lodge from Victorian / Edwardian times, now operating as a country house style hotel. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the staff were attentive and the food was excellent. Highly recommended

We stayed at Loch Inagh Lodge as a base while visiting Connemera. What a wonderful place! Dinner and breakfasts were delicious and expertly served. Especially seafood at dinner. Great bar area and front sitting rooms with wonderful a wonderful fire *yes even in August in Ireland!). Our room was large, quiet, clean and luxurious. The staff was great!

Lough Inagh lodge is an old fishing lodge set on the lough Inagh a large lake with mountains rising above the back of the property. It is truly a country house hotel and has a very warm and intimate feel. If you are looking for everything to be perfect like a luxury chain, then this is likely not for you...

I have been visiting Lough Inagh for years with my parents for dinner and we also stayed. The food and service are wonderful - Moira and Dominic are great hosts! We have been for dinner many times and never disappointed. My father loves the mussels and chowder. The views are wonderful out across the lake to the mountains. The sitting...
