This beautiful cottage is located close to the Atlantic ocean. If you look out of the window you see green madows, cows and swans on the Weir flowing into the ocean. The rooms are spacious and lovely decorated. We had a large bathroom and an infrared sauna to warm up after a stormy day. In the luxurious living room breakfast... More

This place is the most relaxing place I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. A fairytale pink thatched traditional Irish cottage set in perfectly manicured grounds, tucked down a peaceful lane. It’s a stone’s throw from the famous Moran’s Oyster Bar where we had a gorgeous evening meal as recommended by our wonderful host. We arrived at Weir... More

We were staying in Weirhaven for 7 days. The stay was an entirely pleasant one, from the delicious food made available (Homemade Bread, just to mention one), the excellent accommodations to the superb surroundings. Everything was as described and in many ways exceeded our expectations! We choose Weirhaven for it’s strategic location, just a short trip (20 minutes) to Galway... More

We stayed here for only one night unfortunately. We had a super room with steam shower and one of the most comfortables beds I ever slept in. We arrived early evening and were treated to the most delicous tea and homemade scones. We then had a really enjoyable evening having dinner at Morans The Weir. The owner Kathleen dropped us... Our family of eight people made arrangements months in advance to rent Weir Haven for one week. Kathleen's advertised that we would be greeted with a "welcome" package including milk, juice, cereal, bread, etc. She also stated that she could do meals, if requested. Several weeks before our trip, I requested a dinner on a specific night for our family.... More

Perfection from start to finish! The house, the rooms, the food and Kathleen. This place would restore your faith in B&B's. The welcome, the thatched roof, the views, the breakfast, the glass of wine when we got in after dinner, the call from Kathleen after she found left behind items - couldn't recommend it higher!

We stayed for two nights in this beautiful thatched house during the clarinbridge oyster festival. The whole experience from start to finish was wonderful-the house itself, the room, the view of the weir, the location and the service. Kathleen, the host was very helpful. We would highly recommend Weir Haven to everyone.
