Anna Marie, the owner's daughter was our hostess on the island, and she was wonderful! So accommodating. Early check-in was no problem. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing. Our dinner was the best we had during our 11 day stay in Ireland in eight different cities. We were looking for genuine Ireland and found it on this island.

We loved our three night stay here. Well kept and nicely appointed room with bath. It was fun to chat with Vilma. We felt like 'old friends' meeting up once again. Vilma prepared all our meals. She is a wonderful cook and host. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for a weekend for the Inis Meain 10k run in March and greatly enjoyed Vilma's hospitality. The accommodation was simple and very comfortable, with great views across to Inis Sheer and the Cliffs of Moher. The food was delicious and imaginative, with an early breakfast to get us on the morning ferry.

Vilma provided comfort and extra travel support during a trying circumstance I ended up in. I will remember her kindness as well as her nice accommodations in a great location. I would definitely choose to stay there again should I be so fortunate as to go back to the Aran Islands.

Went there for a relaxing week-end 18th & 19th Sep 2015. Inis Meain is much more peaceful than either Inis Mor or Inis Oirr. We had our evening meal in Tigh Conaighle on both evenings - Wilma the proprietor is an excellent cook & the food is of a high standard. Not to be missed on the island are the...

I've stayed with Wilma many times over the years and have never been dissappointed. Her wonderful comfortable B&B is surpassed only by her wonderful cooking. She puts a great emphasis on good quality ingredients and when matched with her cullinary skills make for a fantastic meal. Wilma goes out of her way to make my trip to the island a...

Bad experience. Booked two single ensuite rooms for three nights via Wilma at Tig Congaile B&B. Wilma sent an email confirming the bookings. Arrived 7:30 p.m. Wilma said only one room was available. (I assume someone else requested a room and she gave them one of ours to maximise her income by renting both rooms at double rather than single...

I have never received a warmer welcome from any landlady as I did from Vilma! We stayed in room 3 which although simple, was very comfortable, clean and had a lovely view to inisheer (smallest of Aran islands). When you call to book B&B book an evening meal with her also. In September there is not much choice of places...

Tig Chonghaile was the perfect venue for exploring the island on foot.. Vilma's céad míle fáilte warmed the cockles of my heart. The weather ensured we made the most of this very special place.where you can" touch" the peace and quiet. Christina L.

Welcome to Tig Congaile. This family-run B&B is situated on Inis Meain the most untouched of the three Aran Islands. Tig Congaile's tranquil atmosphere and exceptional and serene views of Inis Oirr, the cliffs of Moher and the islands unique landscape, lend towards the rest and revitalization of its visitors, who return time and time again for this very quality. It is also situated a mere 5 minutes walk from the island's traditional pub, where all the locals and visitors can come together to experience a bit of ceol agus craic. And another 5 minute walk in the opposite direction and you will arrive at one of the island's beaches. Your hosts will be Padraig Conneely, a native islander and his wife Vilma, a Guatemalan cook.
