A beautiful building, a great view and superb cooking. Rory deBlacam's elemental cooking style is simple and perfect. Is there a better chef at the moment? Add in the peace and quiet of this fantastic location and it makes for a few days of glorious get-away.

Inishmean is a totally unspoiled place and Inishmean suites and restaurant is a gem.The accommodation is superb totally in keeping with the location. It is a magnificent design. The food created by Ruairi is of locally sourced produce with wonderful fish and shellfish straight out of the sea and vegetables and fruits grown immediately beside the restaurant. On one of our nights after dinner a playwright in residence on the island performed a reading which was memorable. However, the most important part was the welcome and attention of Marie-Therese and Ruairi and the staff. It was like being welcomed to someone’s home.

We had the pleasure of Dining at Inis Meain Restaurant and Suites this weekend. From the moment we arrived the friendly warm welcome we received , the relaxed atmosphere ,the interaction with other guests and the general atmosphere in the Restaurant was very very special. The food was amazing, our taste buds were tested to the limit as every course was so tasty and so well presented. Everything is sourced locally and freshly cooked by Ruairi who is a very talented chef , The wine list was so varied we needed help deciding which to choose and Marie Therese expertly guided us resulting in the perfect choice, Steph is so warm and welcoming and takes time to explain what each course consists of and where it is sourced, The whole evening was an amazing experience everything was perfect from start to finish, We cant wait to go back.. Spent last weekend on Inis Meáin in the Aran Islands where we staying at the Inis Meáin suites. Staying there is a unique EXPERIENCE and a description by itself fails to do the place justice. I can only concur with all the other reviews here. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we got 5 star treatment from Marie Thérése, Ruairí and staff. The attention to detail must be unmatched anywhere in Ireland. The meals are amazing ..... such taste and flavours. Bhí gach rud thar barr. Bheidfimid ar ais aris le cunamh Dia. Mile buiochas do cach.
