In a stunning location right on the harbour but interior and facilities very dated. Breakfast buffet limited with nothing to tell you what cooked food might be available. I am a fit 65+ but found the stairs very steep and awkward to negotiate. The staff were pleasant enough but did not make us feel particularly welcome or take time to...

Stayed in a triple room here last night. The family running the estabishment are very friendly and very keen to ensure you are comfortable and happy. The rooms are great (we had a triple), very clean and comfortable. Wifi is free but the best signal is in the TV room. The hotel is placed right on the pier of Bunbeg...

Bunbeg house is set in a beautiful harbour. The interior is dated, the little Bistro is family run and the quality of the food is very good. Every instance of service resulted in some sort of error (E.g Crab without lettuce came with lettuce, Bacon on brown toast arrived as bacon on white toast etc) The rooms were very dated....

stayed here for one night , its located in a very isolated area so its not like travelers are spoiled for choice when it comes to accommodation , this might explain why not a huge effort is made in terms of presentation the rooms are big but are very dated , bed linen appears old and not exactly top quality...

What a disaster. Were it not for the genuinely nice owner, this would have been a complete hiding. For starters, blaming a new website, the property didn't respond to our booking until we called 48hrs later, and a room was confirmed, This was followed 24hrs later by an auto-generated (we suspected) email saying we now did NOT have a room....

Great welcome, interesting location, great sunset, good value, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. What could be better? And the drive along the Wild Atlantic Way is everything that the tourist publicity said it would be.

We stayed in Bunbeg House for 3 days recently and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our bedroom was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was just what was needed to set us up for the day. Bunbeg House is in a truly spectacular area in north-east Donegal. We enjoyed sitting in the sun watching the fishing boats coming & going during...

The staff make this place a great place to stay; excellent service was consistent. Otherwise, although the room's are comfortable and clean, the building's actually a little tired and due a refurbishment. Wonderful setting though, although after a long day of walking, the slog one mile uphill to the pub is a long one.

Stayed three nights at Bunbeg House with two colleagues on a walking tour. Despite arriving late on the first night we were given a warm welcome on our arrival and shown to our three rooms. The rooms were clean, large and comfortable although the decor was a little dated. The ensuite shower-room was also large and had all we needed...

I was touring with my elderly mum and found Bunbeg house just by chance by following the harbour sign. We only stayed for one night as we moved around daily. A good night sleep although the noise of the plumbing was heard from other rooms at times. Breakfast was excellent. only met the hostess who was lovely. I've given a...
