Myself and my partner stayed here for a weekend as we were attending a wedding in Gweedore. We arrived in darkness, so couldn't appreciate the stunning location and views until morning. Our welcome was warm and welcoming and the hospitality from the owners over the weekend was second to none! The beds were a little on the uncomfortable side but...

We stayed here for one night during our Wild Atlantic Way road trip, this is a good location for a one night stop if you are also doing this trip. The staff are lovely and friendly and the house itself is very cute and cosy, with a lovely little harbour view. The rooms are large, as are the bathrooms, but...

This guesthouse is snuggled away in Bunbeg harbour. The owners, Jean and Andy, welcomed us whole heartedly, making us feel very comfortable. We stayed in room 11 overlooking the harbour, it was very spacious (a double and a single bed) very clean and warm. They provided us with a cot for our 7 month old daughter. Each morning we had a...

Bunbeg doesn't have a huge array of accommodation to offer and this converted millhouse is a good bet. Some reviews here dislike the fact that there's no reception as such - you are asked to ring a bell and someone will materialize to look after you. But this is a guesthouse and not a full service hotel: it doesn't charge...

Bunbeg House is a well run and efficient guesthouse. Nice spot overlooking a picturesque spot, although a walk to bars/eateries. No frills gaff and sizeable comfortable rooms. Breakfast was basic and could have been greatly enhanced by more variety and dare I say it, a menu. I imagine, its situation is enhanced with some rare Irish sunshine.

On arrival there was no-one there to welcome us, we waited for about 10 minutes before a scruffy dressed young fellow quickly rushed us to our rooms. Later we inquired about the bar and restaurant as advertised, but to be told that they were both closed and will not open, when I asked could we supply our own drinks and...

Stayed at Bunbeg House for 1 night with our two collies Ruadh and Céile whilst driving around the Wild Atlantic Way. The owner and the family were very friendly and made us and our dogs welcome (the family have a dog themselves and were happy to have dogs on the premises). We initially sat outside to eat so the our...

A beautiful location on the small harbor in Bunbeg. The rooms are simple but adequate and ample, and the inn offers other spaces -- a reading room, a small bar, and a full restaurant. We had a very nice meal at the restaurant, but were equally impressed with the family that owns and operates Bunbeg. Lovely people. We certainly recommend.

This hotel is a very clean, very quiet hotel. It's in a beautiful place but it's management leaves a lot to be desired. The woman of the house was extremely nice and her food was absolutely gorgeous, but she didn't have a whole pile of backup. Nobody seemed to have a specific job, hence there was rarely anyone on reception,...
