I have just returned from a wonderful stay at this delightful hotel. The staff were absolutely charming and attentive. My room was lovely and full of character. Afternoon tea is a must and the food was fresh and delicious. I cannot wait to go back.

This was a relaxing three day break. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a nice garden view. The food was good but not outstanding. The staff were excellent, so friendly and cheerful which made our stay so pleasant. Downside is that there is no tv in the rooms. There is a television room but the television is steam driven...

Some friends and I had planned on a 4 night stay at this wonderful place during our Ireland trip. We found Ballymaloe to be so beautiful and restful that we rearranged our itinerary and stayed for 2 more nights. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were comfortable. I cannot say enough about the staff. So warm and helpful...

Ballymaloe House will not suit everyone. The lack of a TV in the rooms will probably come as a shock to some, but that's part of the environment created here to help people get away from the rush and bother of the modern world. Our room (the Blue Room) was large and nicely furnished, the bed was firm but reasonable,...

We spent a long weekend at the Ballymaloe Hotel. What a fantastic place it is. The food as you would expect is amazing. Particularly breakfast. The rooms are lovely. We stayed in the main house and our room was huge.

This really is a beautiful spot, myself and my girlfriend returned from a fantastic night feeling genuinely rested. The food was exquisite with much of the produce coming from the farm itself and the breakfast was one of the best that we've ever had. We'll be back again soon I hope.

I was taken here as a present by my girlfriend, who had booked the Midleton experience. We stayed just the Saturday night and had a Midleton Whiskey on arrival, a sumptuous 5 course dinner, a fabulous breakfast and a Jameson Distillery tour on the Sunday. It was all excellent and the staff ensured a very relaxed stay. We had one...

This was the third time I've stayed at Ballymaloe House. It's reassuring to return to a hotel and find that it is just as much a treat as the times before. The staff are friendly, yet efficient and the ambiance perfect. I stayed here with a small group and each person's reaction was equally positive. The rooms are extremely comfortable...

Stayed for 1 night. Everything was delightful. Superb art scattered around. What a pleasure to have no TV in bedrooms/drawing rooms. Food and service first class. I didn't have time to explore the grounds this time. Quick visit to shop, lovely products and good value. I wasn't asked for a credit card to secure booking, good old fashioned trust prevails.

We stayed here in mid February and really loved it. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed and the staff were extremely helpful. The house itself is an old Georgian manor built on the ruins of a Norman castle. It's surrounded by lovely gardens although in February bulbs were just peeking out of the ground. Nice walking area.
