Just returned from 3 nights at the Carnegie. Check in/out experience was extremely easy. And Wellington's - the on site restaurant has excellent breakfast selection. I had a conference call early one morning and room service breakfast took no time. A side order of fruit could have fed 3 people - but it was amazing. Extremely fresh - by far...

We had a great time here. The hotel is based on older, classic hotels in the city that no longer exist, and if it weren't for all the antiques and the overall design, you'd never know that it's a newer hotel. Great rooms, great amenities, and a really fantastic staff. We had a ball and won't hesitate to stay here...

The Carnegie is reminiscent of the grand hotels of the past. Large rooms with large baths, separate bath & shower, dual vanities, and furniture styles of the past with modern updates. Planning on returning for a family vacation.

I arrived at this hotel at the same time a large wedding reception was being held in the main lobby. A bit hectic, but the staff was efficient and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. I did not hear any noise from any adjoining rooms. Despite being fully booked, there was still ample parking in the free garage. You...

The Carnegie is furnished with antiques and fixtures to make it appear to be an old 1930’s hotel with all modern amenities (I want to know the history of the revolving doors). Our room was furnished with a sleigh bed, and the bathroom was huge with a tub and separate shower. The fitness facility had a stationary bike and enough...

This tall hotel (around 14 stories) sits across the street from Eastern Tennessee State University and has a restaurant and bar attached. Though it was built in the last 15 years, it appears old and was modeled on a former hotel from the 20s that burned. We enjoy staying at historic hotels, and this fit the bill even though it...

Very large rooms in this historic hotel. Very peaceful and quiet. This is close to ETSU and several good downtown resturants. There is a very nice resturant in the hotel but the hours were limited, closed Sunday's.

It's like walking back into the past. The hotel is filled with charm. Our room was huge with two queen sleigh beds. The bathroom had an separate shower and tub. We were greeted with a smile when we arrived. Parking can be limited but we found a place. The hotel is across the street from the college.
