The stalls are clean & plenty of them! Friendly staff with everything you need on site! Clean bathrooms & showers. They provided free sawdust & the option of paying to have your stall cleaned. A nice little retail shop for all things cowboy ( or girl)

We spent Thanksgiving week at True West Campground and had a blast from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by Donna and Shawn who helped us unload our horses and he quickly cleaned out the back of our trailer for us. We had a perfect site near the barn that has spacious stalls and free bedding. Thanksgiving Day the...

10 of my friends and I met there from 2 different states and we loved it. Personally I was very impressed with the facility. We were met by the owners right when we pulled in and they took us to our stalls and cleaned out our trailers for us. How nice was that after a 12 hour trip!! They even...

The campground is practically spotless. Best idea ever is to NOT have horses in the campground. The covered stalls are awesome. It's amazing how clean it is. Everybody helps out to clean up after themselves and their horses. AND the showerhouse !!!!!!!!! Clean clean clean. !! And Hot water for the showers !!!

Hi Nicole! Thank you for your review - and it was great meeting you! Next time you come, be sure to book early so you can get the sites in the back by the ponds. Much more private. But those sites do book fast, so call early. We look forward to seeing you again! Donna

The owners were very helpful with information about trail routes and conditions. The camp and barn facilities and services were outstanding. The location makes access to trail heads on the west side of the Big South Fork convenient. The other campers were very friendly. Ice is available on-site and fuel is available less than 10 miles from camp.

True West campground is the best place to camp I have ever stayed! You are met at the barn, your trailer shoveled out, your tack carried in the barn..then you are followed to your site and helped unload! Friendly, sweet family people!

Our group of 10 stayed at True West last weekend. They were extremely helpful and friendly. They transported all our tack, hay and gear to the barn and even cleaned out the manure in the trailer. The mercantile has a large variety of jewelry, clothes/hats, décor, and horse tack. The bathroom/showers were very clean. Our big rigs (40-60 feet) easily...
