Rent a U-Haul and Moving Uncle Woody from Goodlettsville to Georgia. It tool two nights so we booked a second night with Windgate in Goodlettsville. We were satisfied with both nights stay. We are returning and will make reservations as needed.
Very unprofessional staff! our toilet did not work in our room. We were told someone was on the way to repair it and they never came. Then we were advised to use the rest room in the lobby so we had to get up and get dressed to go down stairs to the rest room every time. We were not offered so much as a cup of coffee for this huge inconvenience!!! I did not pay $155 to use a lobby bathroom!!!! We had to go outside and find the staff to even check out.
The woman at the front desk was courteous and the hotel and room appeared clean. Everything was quiet from 10pm until about 6am. Then I could hear my neighbors- not great if you want to sleep in. The furniture is warn but the beds are reasonably comfortable. We were driving 18 hours and just needed a spot to rest so this worked. I wouldn’t book here for a vacation.
The hotel and location were vary nice but the room telephone did not work and they weren't willing to repair or replace it while we were there. That was the good part. The bad part was that the room's toilet was plugged and their solution was to hand me a plunger at the front desk. Then, it continued to have problems flushing because the plumbing is either not vented properly or the vent stack is plugged. For over $100 per night, I would think they would fix the toilets.
Staff was friendly enough but not overly attentive. The room was clean but not real attentive outside. I can’t get over paying what I paid and being halfway through my shower and it going icy cold. If your boiler is going bad, lower your capacity until you get it fixed!
