Richland Inn now has new owners and management. No complaints on the room. The morning breakfast bar was not stocked very well. Most mornings that we stayed there was only one bagel or no bagels at all. No bread for toast. The only thing was a cereal dispenser that had been mixed with other brands of cereal. There was only 6 pieces of Sausage on the hot bar. Several guests came in and asked about the bagels and why there were not any there. Kroger is right down the street and they could have gone there to get what was needed to stock the breakfast bar. We talked to other guests that were there and all agreed that the breakfast bar was well below the previous managements breakfast bar. After the second day we all went out to a local restaurant for breakfast for the remainder of our stay.
Upon check in we were met with a gentleman who did not speak English very well and was occupied with his phone to check our group in. The gentleman was from India. His English skills were lacking, and we had several mistakes upon check inn. Wrong names and credit cards.

We stayed at the Richland Inn while visiting family in Columbia. The staff was courteous both on the phone and in the office. Our room was a single King which was right by the lobby and included a microwave and fridge. While the furnishings could stand some updating, the room was clean and quiet, the bed comfortable, and we had no issues with anything not working. The free breakfast had the usual waffle machine, as well as eggs, biscuits, gravy, and cereal. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice, quaint motel in Columbia, walking distance to a very nice steak house and bar. Management, Sonny & Racheal, were very courteous and out going. Comfortable beds, and clean rooms. We stay here every year while visiting the Confederate Museum in nearby Elm Springs.

This place it horrible!!!! We asked for another room because it was SO dirty. They had nothing. Our mistake was I payed cash because it was late at night and there was nothing else in the area!! I booked two rooms! Tried contacting them even get a some kind of refund! They won't pick up the phone. My Son's room had blood on the lamp, and beer bottles on the floor! We had outlets that were burned and the covers were off, the phone was so dirty, the shower was full of stains and mold. The hairdryer was full of dust, garbage under the bed. We all slept in our clothes!

Terrible Hotel. Stayed in the Richland Inn in Lawrenceburg and it was great, super clean. This one, not so much. There is mold around the sink, blood on the shower curtain and cigarette holes in the blanket. The room stank of cigarettes. They've been updating rooms, but none of that matters when it's too dirty to bear. Thought it would be like lawrenceburg, regrettably NO. The check in staff were rude and our room had no TP. Would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

We left the white motel down the street to come to the Richland Inn. All we wanted was a clean room for a few days, and we got just that, at a lower rate. The room was very nice. well-kept and clean. We will return on our next trip into Columbia. Staff that we dealt with was very professional and respectful. Several good places to eat at near the motel. Ask the front desk for more restaurants that are close by.

Very conveniently located. Clean rooms. We were very, very impressed with the shower. Huge shower and no tub to step over, (which is a plus for us) probably because they gave us a handicapped room for some reason. Room was fine. Sirens much of the night, which isn’t their fault, but it did interfere with sleep. The big issue was the beds. Got a double room, and the beds were absolutely unbearable. They made “crinkling” sounds as if we were sleeping on plastic. And they were the most uncomfortable beds we have EVER slept on! Neither of us got much sleep, and we’re visiting our granddaughter for the first time in almost a year. Would not stay there again!

STAY AWAY!!! Booked a reservation, got a call from the motel to confirm, and then they charged my card. When I arrived several hours later, they had given my reservation away and at that point had no rooms left. Ended up having to drive 45 minutes at midnight to find another hotel room. Piss poor customer service! These people will screw you over in a heartbeat!

Absolutely nothing exceptional here. Nothing horrible either. The old motor lodge was dated….but clean. The furniture has seen better days…..but it was clean. I had to laugh that the coffee was badged Best Western while the soap was Ramada.
