The hotel room was clean and comfortable, meanwhile the 3rd floor hallways apparently are not air conditioned because July heat was there! Breakfast wasn't anything to write home about, so don't expect much. Milk supply is very limited so if you want some don't mess around because by 8 am its gone and they''ll say we are out. Really! The little fridge has approximately 12 little bottles or less and half of that is chocolate milk. Snooze you lose.... Had to get room cards reloaded twice when they didn't work over 2 days. Just little things that are aggravating that are an easy fix. Again room was clean and comfortable but little things were a nuisance. Vending area with ice machines are only available on first floor only because it appeared they were working on 2n and 3rd floor.

The room was clean and nice except the top cover was dirty meaning they hadn’t cleaned it. Everything else was good. Employees were friendly and nice. The hotel seemed newer. Breakfast would have been good but at like 730-8 am they were out of food. No milk. There was no juice. No one ever came to fill up anything. Eggs were soggy and gross. It was bare and empty and I’m not sure why. If it had been kept up and filled I think the breakfast would have been good. I highly suggest this hotel but do not recommend breakfast. I hope management gets this feedback because if it wasn’t for the dirty bedsheet and the empty breakfast, the hotel would have been great.

I stayed at the Sleep Inn for a week in february. And i must say that the service is fantastic. The people at the front desk are so helpful and friendly. They did walk an extra mile for me to feel welcome.
There are only two things i can put my finger on that wasn’t great:
1. Wifi is not good. If you need a stable wifi connection, you will be disappointed. It’s probably just a configuration thing for the hotel to fix.
2. Coming from hotels in Norway and Europe, i wouldn’t call the breakfast offered breakfast. But that may just be me. I’m not used to American breakfast culture, so it may have been good after all 😀

I made a reservation knowing the area would be busy on a Friday night. We arrived at 6 pm and rooms were not cleaned. There was a line of angry travelers waiting to check in. The young man at the desk was doing the job of 3 people while trying to accommodate upset guests. When we finally got a room the floors were not swept, the refrigerator was not cold, and there food in the microwave. Breakfast was a joke. By 8 am there were no biscuits and gravy, muffins, bagels, or pastries. The few sausages were swimming in grease. It wasn’t long until the eggs, pancake syrup, yogurt and coffee were gone. There was no one to refill anything and we were told the breakfast person did not come in. So all the guests who chose this property expecting a hot breakfast were just out of luck. And no one with the hotel seemed to care.
The hotel experience was sad and disappointing. It is not as advertised. This property is mismanaged and does not deserve to be a Sleep Inn.

After reading some of the older reviews, I have determined that this hotel must be under new management. The room/bathroom was clean. The front desk clerk was friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic….biscuits, gravy, eggs, ham, waffles, pancakes, pastries, bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, juice, etc. The coffee was great and there was even hot water and a selection of tea and hot cocoa packets. The lady who was taking care of the breakfast area was very sweet. The hotel is in a very quiet area. The cell service and the hotel wifi was weak. We stayed in a king room and had plenty of towels and an extra roll of toilet paper. For some reason, the elevators and hallways were quite warm, but the room was nice and cool. Great experience! We would definitely stay here again.

This is the first review made in a few months. They've been having problems with their water heater but still accept reservations without any mention of this issue. The water gets warm and is passable but a hot shower is not only a nice thing to have, it should be available to the paying customer. If I was staying here for free, then I won't complain but I am paying to stay here. I expect better for $120 a night.
I will say that housekeeping did a good job and breakfast was on par with choice hotels. The front line employees that you see are trying to do well. My issue is with ownership/management and the fact that I booked a room but had no idea about the hot water issue until I turned on the faucet and let it run. This is disgraceful and their choice hotels license should be revoked.
Only the ice machine on the first floor is available. Minor thing because the room had a fridge and that worked fine.
Overall, there are positive aspects but the hot water issue is a big one. If you are looking to book end of February/March consider yourself warned. Who knows how much longer it will take to get fixed if it gets fixed at all. I was able to gather from the staff that this has been going on for some time.
You hate to see the staff suffer for the horrible and unforgivable failings of ownership/management but for the time being (give it a few months, even then it might be a roll of the dice), you'd be better off taking your business elsewhere. I normally have good experiences with the choice hotels brand. You never know, however, as each hotel is independently owned and operated.

We were very disappointed with this property. The WIFI connection was so poor that we could not use it. The shower had only lukewarm water and very, very low water pressure. There was no hair dryer in the room, which the Sleep Inn site said they had. When I brought up these concerns with the front desk clerk at checkout she was completely unconcerned. She shrugged off my issues. I would not recommend this property.

The room was 177.00 plus tax so I used 16,000 of my hard earned points at best should been 100.00 or 10,000 comforter stained. Shower had mildew all around bottom we wouldn’t use it. All ice makers each floor didn’t work pancake maker didnt either no one restocked breakfast area had to tell front desk. When told them all issues they didn’t do anything but we will pass it along. Im a platinum member we stay a lot of places for travel ball if you are going to charge these prices you need to improve this property . Im stayed at 80.00 rooms better.

I travel constantly due to my business and as a result stay in several hotels. I booked the Sleep Inn Columbia Tennessee to save a few dollars. The front desk attendant was extremely rude, unprofessional and had a chip on her shoulders throughout our entire stay. She lied to my granddaughter and stated that the hotel did not have a swimming pool. While my wife was talking with her, she turned her back on her and walked off when my wife was asking about the quality of the rooms. She hung up on me when i called from my room to request when the manager would be working. When my wife when to get the extra bedding she said "he's going to complain on me". after saying this she threw her hands up in my wife's face and walked off. Also I requested for my room to be cleaned during out stay, but this request was ignored also. We did not receive new wash cloths or towels during our stay and the trash was never emptied and the beds were not made. During all out interactions with this lady she never addressed me or my wife as Sir or Maam. This young lady was about the age of 18 or 19, my wife and I are 57 and 58 years old. After checking out I called and complained to the assistant manager who said she would have the primary manager telephone me concerning my stay. It has been 7 day and the manager of the property has not telephone me or apologized for my mistreatment. Apparently the manager of the property doesn't give a crap.

This place should lose its occupancy permit. As if the cigarette burns in the bedding weren’t enough, the mold growing in the bathroom in the shower, and more next to the light switch has clearly been there for a long time. There’s no way to call the front desk because the phone wire won’t even connect to the phone. And on the way down to tell the front desk, we find out that if the elevator gets stuck, we are on our own because there is a “communication failure” in the connection to the emergency line for the elevator. But at least they had occupancy!

This week it was biscuits, gravy, sausage, cheese omelet, eggs, boiled eggs, Belgian waffles, toast, bagels, pastries, fruit, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal. The breakfast cook lady was always replenishing it so it was fresh. Salt and pepper available. Weekday hours were 6:30 to 9 and weekend 6:30 to 11am.
There are more places to choose from in the Columbia area.
