PROS-convenient location off the interstate, friendly and quick check in, standard 2 queen bed room, quiet overnight, huge TV channel selection
CONS-very noisy in Room 105 during the day from noise in the hallway and above us, no elevator in this 2 story motel, parking lot is gravel where you enter but that may be due to all the road work near by, bathroom not very clean and didn't appear to be as updated as rest of motel
Breakfast is my main complaint. We tried to eat around 8 am (Sunday) and there was literally nothing except a few muffins and some biscuits and dry cereal. Everything in the warming pans (eggs, gravy, meat) was empty. The counter tops were filthy and had milk spilled and cereal all over them and the waffle maker was broken. An employee came in and said he'd get more hot food out in 20 minutes and the waffle maker was out for repair which would take a week. More people were arriving then. We didn't have 20 minutes to wait so we grabbed coffee and a small muffin. Breakfast doesn't make or break our stays but as Diamond members in Choice Privileges this was the poorest example we've seen in 25 years.

No spoons, No soap, No washcloths, Pool is closed and discolored water, treadmill does not work (out of order sign), outside lighting is not working, ashtrays full of butts and not cleaned out. only have fruit loops, bread, and waffles (centennial Breakfast) Only rated it a two because the room was clean but if no one uses soap everything is nasty! Just find another hotel.

I recently spent the night at the Quality Inn at the I-65 exit in Columbia, TN. The motel has easy access to I-65 and is located next to Cracker Barrel which you can walk to easily. My room was at the back of the motel building and I was never able to access the internet which was somewhat inconvenient. The motel is in relatively good condition and the heating/cooling unit was very quiet.

Looked good from the outside at night and its a "Choice Hotels Quality Inn" a brand that's usually decent. Not this time. absolutely filthy room that we should have left- but after 12 hour driving marathon and other places we'd tried sold out on a Friday nite, we were just too tired. We pulled out our Covid19 supplies and wiped down what we touched and tried to touch as little as possible. Hair and something dried on the "clean" sheets, scum & hair in the tub, on the tiles, dark stains on the rug, something spilled down the nightstand and again, wiped on the wall next to the microwave, thick layers of dust on the curtains, top of tv, mirror and headboards. Yellowed, push button room phone from 1990 that hadn't been cleaned since. For this we paid $100 with the tax. Covid 19 precautions non-existent and to top things off, we were up at 5:30 to get the heck out of there and at 5:45 could hear someone talking loud and continuously. When we came out of the room we discovered the noise was coming from the front desk clerk running her mouth downstairs (there was an open balcony to the second floor). We complained to her and all she said was "oh sorry". We are seasoned travelers and this was one of the absolute worst US hotels we've ever stayed in. Clean it up or close it down. Disgraceful.

After driving all day we booked a room online that was billed as a Deluxe King bed room that the site said was only one left. We checked in at 8:30pm. Room 218. $125 was on the check-in receipt. We were later charged $149+ on the card. Upon entering the room the carpet was dirty/stained and we found a dead mouse in the corner. The front desk did not answer phone so went down to desk. He said he would refund our money & we could leave. Or he would send some to up to clean it up. But that late and with nothing else available and we were very tired we opted to have it cleaned up. A lady arrived and removed the mouse and left. The bed looked clean so we removed the bedspread and slept on the clean looking sheets. We left early next morning. The site said hot breakfast. The only thing hot was the coffee. The breakfast consisted of packaged rolls, stale tasting orange juice, and coffee. Would not stay here again!!!

On a trip with my 30# dog from Wisconsin to Florida....and back. Stayed primarily at Quality Inns because they allowed my pet AND they were reasonably priced for an overnight. I was pleasantly surprised to find that all of the motels that I stayed at were pretty clean and accommodated my having a pet with a "back yard" area.
Also...I was alone and always felt safe. My stay was March 2020 just before the pandemic restrictions were starting.

Hotel O Columbia Downtown near I-65

I would not suggest this Hotel to anyone, first... They offer a 10% discount to pay right away but you do not receive a discount. Second, I had a guy sleeping in his car outside of my room all night, and he actually knocked on my door at around 3 a.m. drunk. Third, The room had been cleaned halfway, there was dirt along the walls, the tables and dresser was filthy, and the room completely outdated. And lastly, they supposedly put a
" hold" of $50.79 on my credit card for any damage to the room. I was only in the room from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. just to sleep. No damage was done to the room. I even made the bed before leaving. When I checked out I spoke with the front desk... The manager told me the hold was removed. They still debited my credit card for $50.79 and I had to dispute this with my bank.
I will no longer be staying at this hotel on my trips to Nashville.

I have a service animal which they were aware of from a previous stay. They suggested my dog has a barking problem upon checking in, which is a lie and then proceeded to put me in a room just around the corner from all of the incoming and outgoing traffic. Zen did well in spite of it. The facility is appealing in appearance. Their breakfast is better than many. I have great concern that the outdoors is covered in litter and glass in the grass and there's barely a place for my service dog to use the bathroom safely.

Dirty bedding!!!! We booked 2 rooms, 1 for my adult children and 1 for my husband and I. My in-laws got another room. Every single room had dirty and stained bedding it was disgusting. NOT RETURNING!! Pay extra go somewhere that actually washes the linens.

We had to stop on a road trip to Indiana. We got the last room. The staff was so helpful in yeti us extra pillows and blankets for our kids since the room only had one bed. Very clean room, good breakfast, very friendly staff. You would expect lower quality for the discounted price compared to others in the area, but we have had a very pleasant experience.

There was no evidence of any type of pest in the room, around the food area, or any other area on the property while we were there. I would definitely stay there again when in that area.
