Southern hospitality doesn’t exist at this hotel. In April, my husband and I stayed 3 days and 4 nights for a wedding. Our wedding group had over 25 rooms booked. Two other weddings groups had also booked room blocks. This novelty of this 100 year old hotel, prides itself as a historical hotel with its lavish original wood work in...

Nice staff and this encouraged me to read history online which was in fact interesting but not up to date. Unfortunately it lists fitness center which the hotel personal stated had just closed and they 'didn't know what would replace it' - one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The street noise is very loud even on the eighth...

My sister had picked this hotel for our families to stay while visiting the area over Easter week. Lobby was nice and impressive but that was about it. Zoe at the front desk was nice very helpful. The hotel is " historic" all that really means is the rooms are old and dirty. Housekeeping freshened our room but left us...

Checked out after one night and went to the DoubleTree down the street. This place was horrific. Holes in the walls, our bed was broken and crudely screwed back together in multiple places with random screws all over it. The pullout bed had no linens on it or in the room. Had to have them brought up. Sat down on...

We stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to the Tivoli Theater where we were attending a Home Free Vocal Band Concert. The hotel was clean, had valet parking available 24/7, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. There is an electric shuttle that is free to carry you to the Chattanooga Choo Choo, the Aquarium, and the...

The real plus of this place is the hotel itself, it is a beautiful peace of architecture! Valet Service was cheap and fast. Staff very helpful! We do recommend the place, perfect!!! Oh and there is a Starbucks in the building ;)

My husband and I stayed here a couple of nights for our anniversary and enjoyed it very much. It is very convenient to everything downtown and walking around the city is enjoyable. We had a suite, which was roomy, but nothing elaborately decorated or furnished. We would definitely stay here again.

Let me first off say this hotel is very nice. It is an older historic place and very convenient to most everything we needed.. We never used the car the whole time we were there. We walked everywhere. I will say the price was a little too steep for what you were given. The rooms were nice, but like I...

We came to this hotel with the family and occupied 2 rooms for 6 nights. One room was so small that there was even no space for the suitcase. The hotel itself is in very bad conditions and needs urgently a renovation. Beside this, it is not managed and maintained at all. Examples: 1) Rooms and common spaces are not...

For what they charge, the hotel should be a lot better. We got a coupon at the Tennessee welcome center, or we would not have stayed here. It is old, run down and smelly, with really scary front desk help and service. Untrained people at check in and service personnel are obviously untrained. It is more the hotel's fault more...
