This was my first experience with a B&B and overall, I was happy with our stay. My wife and I stayed for our anniversary over a Saturday night. The staff was extremely nice and helpful throughout our stay; they were welcoming when we arrived, provided maps and directions, and suggested points of interest to visit. There was a wine &...

This was our third visit to the Stone Fort, we always have had great service, but this trip was the best one yet.The rooms are clean and confortable, the style takes you back to victorian days. The breakfast has always been to die for and this trip met our expections.James the day manager was new to us,but i am proud to say...

There has been a hotel of one sort or another on this spot since 1909. It's current reincarnation, The Stone Fort Inn, is charming to say the least. Spacious, well appointed rooms with two person jacuzzi tubs welcome the weary traveler. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The first floor public spaces are spacious and filled with natural light....

My husband and stayed at the Stone Fort Inn recently for the first time. It is a lovely old place, lovingly restored. The staff members are gracious and friendly. We loved the antique furnishings including the very old pool table and piano dating back to 1880. The location is very convenient to the free electric shuttle buses. However, we preferred...

Had Brunch at Stone Fort Inn with a friend. I was pleasantly surprised. The choice of food was very good and it was prepared very well. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. I felt as though I been taken back in time by 100 years. I highly recommend it. I live in Chattanooga and I now plan...

We stayed one night here and had a wonderful welcome, in fact we were offered a different room complimentary of the hotel but decided as our room seemed very nice we didn't need one with a balcony. The room was tastefully decorated with a hardwood floor and the highest bed we've ever slept in. It was so high it was...

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review of our Inn, although I wish it had been more to your liking. I would like to respond to the issues you mention. We do have some beds frames that are higher than you typically see today that are representative of an earlier period when our Inn was much younger....

My husband and I were treated to a weekend get away in Chattanooga at the Stone fort Inn,Thank you Mr & Mrs Oldham. I really didn`t want to leave the kids, but as soon as we saw the outside of this magnificent Inn, I knew it was a good idea, the staff, the ambience, the decor, the breakfast, cried Romance,...

The room made me feel like I was on vacation in Europe, beautiful decor, and hardwood, the bed and jetted soaking tub were so relaxing. And we woke up to the best breakfast I have EVER had in any place I have stayed as of yet. The Inn was in a great location within walking distance to everything we wanted...

I stayed at the Stone Fort Inn because of the wonderful reviews I have seen on Trip Advisor. I could not be more pleased with my stay. From the warm home cooked cookies, to the newly renovated room, to the double sized soaking tub, to the amazing breakfast in the morning it felt like I was royalty to the staff....

At first blush, this B&B seems very quaint and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately it soon dawns on you (unless you are enthralled by your beloved and therefore not really paying attention) that it is really just a very old property that needs serious refurbishment and just plain cleaning! The beds were also uncomfortable. That said, the staff was friendly and accommodating...

Thank you for reviewing the Inn. We appreciate your complimentary remarks about our staff and breakfast. However, we are sorry that you do not find our 100 year old property quaint and beautifully decorated as you did at first blush. We believe our property is charming, warm and inviting and takes one back to a time when life was a...
