This is my second stay at the hotel of Shaar Golan kibbutz. The rooms are really clean and comfortable. It is nice to find such a level of hygiene because many of the Israeli hotels are not clean at all. The welcome at the reception is warm and professional. They try to arrange the best for you. You can borrow... More

Cozy rooms , large lawns and numerous barbecue areas , heated pool - also coming winter fun , easy way to employ children in winter time . Showers needs renovation - a collective dining room . All facilities of the cooperative kibbutz . It's always nice to experience kibbutz . We toured the kibbutz from their many growth fields .... More

We stayed here as part of an archaeological dig for four weeks. Our rooms were in House 4, the hostel. We had three people in rooms that accommodated up to four with bathrooms down the hall. If your needs are simple, the hostel will work. We had lunch in the dining hall and it was always good. If you need... More

First, this is not a hotel as most know it. Most of these rooms are cottages. The rooms are basic but updated. My room had a large bathroom, flat screen TV, modern A/C, and a small refrigerator, microwave as well as a kitchen sink. Part of the charm is the beautiful Kibbutz setting. This Kibbutz also features a 1/2 Olympic... More

We stayed in a cosy, simple and charming lodge in this kibbutz. We liked the cosy furniture and the little kitchen where we could make some coffee and tea. Bathroom Ok, and enough space in the lodge. We could sit behind the lodge in the open air. Around the lodge were little gardens with flowers and beatiful trees. Our stay was... More

If you want to stay in a kibbutz near the Galilea, go to this Sha'ar HaGolan Country Lodging. Nice room. Clean. Good meals at the kibbutz dining room. Feeling just a villager of the kibbutz. Also a good place to stay with children!

Very nice B& B. Room clean , well-supplied and cleaned with a heated pool close by. However, the room is not cleaned for those staying less than 3 nights. Towels available for replacement. Meals served at the Kibutz dining room. Get busy and noisy on vacations and weekends with large families with children. Great place for having kids. Close to... More

First of all, let me say that I run a tour company in Israel. And I think that might have something to do with the fact that I got a good deal on two nights at this hotel with my family. That said, here are my impressions. First, it was very family friendly. My wife and I were there with... More

We were really curious about lodging in a kibbutz, but overall we were disappointed. We didn't get a very warm welcome, both receptionists didn't speak English very well, so not everything was very clear to us. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. The first night we decided to eat in the kibbutz, a special experience. The food was... More

I had booked in order to participate in a long distance triathlon not far from the hotel (4kms). since my start was at 5.45 in the morning, and was too last about 6 hours, need to be near the start, as well as have a good nights sleep. We arrived Friday noon, and although it is stated rooms are available... More
