The hotel is in a lovely location but it is old and needs updating. No wifi, the beds are like hammocks and creak everyone you move. They serve a poor breakfast buffet every morning for $9. The grounds are nice and has view of Lake but everything in the hotel is old and needs attention

We decided to take long weekend here and while we liked the park. I agree that it , however needs a lot of updating. The tub and sink would not drain properly. The carpet is a trip hazard, dirty, and needs replacing. The hair dryer evidently was ripped from the wall. The room was otherwise nice and the balcony and...

Very old property that severely needs to be updated. Beds were very old. There is a coffee maker in the room but no refrigerator or microwave. We were on 6th floor and had a balcony that overlooked the lake. Curtains did block light if you like a nap. Outdoor Pool was lovely but hot tub is out of order (I...

We visited the Montgomery Bell State Park and stayed at the inn during Memorial Day weekend. We wanted a relaxing getaway and a location that had good motorcycle riding roads. This state park was a good choice. The inn sits on a lake, with all rooms having a balcony and lake view. The rooms are standard hotel rooms and nothing...

What an amazing Hotel!! We were there for an event at Group Camp one, but my wife prefers a Hotel to camping, soooo.... The location is actually in the park, so it was perfect, and it is on one of the lakes there. The room was large, but not as well appointed as some other Hotels might be. There were...

We were at the Inn for a convention. We were well treated by a caring staff. The food was fantastic every meal we ate. Morning coffee on the balcony was great. My only complaint was the cleaning chemicals were just a bit too stout, especially during seasonal allergy time.

Here 1 night for a conference. Yes, it's a park hotel run on a state budget so it could use a little attention. I had no problem with the room. It was clean and comfortable. Can't speak about the price though. The restaurant was a little different. The food was typical state park food but it was good. However, when...

If you have the chance to take a Valentine's Weekend trip to the Montgomery Bell State Park Inn don't miss it. We didn't make us of the entire weekend package the inn was putting on, but we did make reservations for the Saturday night meal in the inn's restaurant. Great meal with a good romantic setting in place. The wait...

This was one of the worst notes I have ever stayed in. Do not let the beautiful lobby fool you. We stayed on the first floor, with access to the lake from our room and the view was gorgeous. However, the second you stop off the elevator you are greeted with a nasty smell and an incredibly dirty hallway. The...

We stayed in a cabin for two nights at MB State Park. From the moment you walk in you get a general feeling of uncleanliness. The showers were filthy , the refrigerator didn't work ( actually the freezer didn't freeze the ice) The cabins have a nice "OUTDOOR" fireplace but who needs that when it's really cold out that will...

Montgomery Bell State Park is located seven miles east of Dickson in Dickson County. The rolling hills of Dickson County contain a treasure that was considered more precious than gold to the builders of young America.
