Where to begin, we stayed with Judy and Paddy ( and Judy's lovely mum) for 2 nights in February. Their hospitality surpassed anything we were expecting or have ever experienced before. The 5.30 invitation to drinks and nibbles was only part of their hospitality. Judy and Paddy were absolutely fantastic hosts their house is stunning with first class facilities. The...

We have stayed in many places around the world and can say that O'Grady Lodge is up there with the VERY best of them. The warmth and welcome of Judy and Paddy cannot be over-emphasised as they go hugely beyond what would be expected of a host. They are just lovely people. The building and the rooms are beautiful with...

The welcome, the house and rooms are really perfect for staying there. We - Monika and myself - are only able to repeat what other guests told about Judy and Paddy and there stunning home. But I would like to emphasize the great hospitality, personal care and the love for details to make the stay of their guests an unforgettable...

We stopped off at O'Grady Lodge on the way from Bay of Islands to Auckland and were so glad that we did. We were welcomed with drinks and delicious home made canapés which was such a treat and we had a lovely chat with Paddy and Judy. The property is stunning and our room was beautifully done out. The fixtures...

It's hard to recommend this placed enough. Judy and Paddy are excellent hosts in their stunning home. The breakfasts are amazing and our room was incredibly luxurious. There's a small library and a gorgeous garden. A real treat.

We selected Ogrady lodge as a half way stopover between Paihia and the Coromandel and it ended up being one of the best places we stayed during our month trip of New Zealand. The lodge has been a 10 year project for Paddy and Judy and is spectacular. Paddy is passionate about his house and rightly so. The location is...

Hands down the best accommodation I've ever stayed in. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable and luxurious (that spa bath!), breakfast is worth the visit alone, and the owners are so accomodating! Ideal for a romantic weekend away. I will be recommending this place to everyone and will most definitely be returning!

Super comfortable, super relaxing and incredibly thoughtful hosts who looked after us incredibly well. Paddy and Judy did absolutely everything to make sure we were comfortable, well nourished and treated - superb. The house is in a rural setting with lovely outlook - each guest room with a deck and peace.

We decided to stay based on a personal recommendation and don't normally go to b&bs usually preferring our privacy. But as stated in other reviews the owners are very good at knowing when you would like to chat and when you are happy to be on your own. The room was stunning and all the small details, rose in the...
