This inn is in a lovely old Victorian home on a quiet street in Spearfish (such a beautiful town) run by mother and daughter who are very friendly and accommodating and overseen by a very large and very friendly standard poodle by the name of Mr. Wilson. We really enjoyed our breakfast outdoors this beautiful day with the other guests....

When the first to greet you when you arrive is a four legged friend with a wet nose, you know it will be a great night. Mr. Wilson, the poodle, is delightful and a nice addition to an otherwise wonderful place to stay. All B&Bs take on the personality of their owners and Secret Garden is no exception. Tastefully decorated...

I stayed here in July 2015 and the place was charming, clean, plenty of amenities, and the downstairs room we stayed in was very comfortable! The owners were wonderful and served the most delicious breakfast!! We arrived late in the evening and they were very accommodating to that. Their dog was very cute and friendly also- a great greeter in...

Beautiful, historical home with a story. Beverly and Rochelle are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast in the garden was an appropriate surprise when staying at a place entitle Secret Garden. We had the best pizza ever at Dough Traders and a local brew. We all enjoyed played fetch with Mr. Wilson. There were four of us in our party and...

We found this on tripadvisor and it was wonderful. The hostesses did all they could to make us feel at home from recommending restaurants and things to do, providing snacks and anything else we needed. The breakfasts were fantastic and we spent more time than planned talking to the other guests around the table. Loved the dogs too!

My wife and I stayed for one night during our cross country travels to get me home to Colorado. From the minute we walked into the Secret Garden BandB, to the moment we had to depart it was everything we expected and more. Beverly and her daughter are the most appreciative and gracious hostesses offering perfect recommendations for places to...

My wife and I had a wonderful stay on June 30th. We had the balcony room that was as good as it gets. The Bed was excellent and the little balcony was delightful. We had a Very Good breakfast out on the patio in the morning. The owners were the nicest people you could meet.

We've only stayed at 9 bed and breakfasts over 10 years and this one was as enjoyable as all the others we know! I felt like the Secret Garden Bed and Breakfast was a great stay for our family of 4 for the two days in Spearfish. I would stay there again, and recommend it if staying in the area...

This BB needs some TLC and a dog trainer to train Wilson the giant poodle. We've been staying at BBs whenever we travel for over 10 years and I must say this was the worst experience to date. The place is musty, out dated and simply appears run down. The mattresses are uncomfortable, bathrooms below average, limited ammenities compared to...

“We had the Balcony room and loved it but presume all the rest are as nice and relaxing.”

“We had the Balcony Room and loved it-the balcony faces north so is cool in the evening! but if you need more room, the one across the hall appears to be enormous-it has one big bed but we saw that the room continued way back with at least 2 more beds in a separate area, and a big bathroom.”
